Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The battle of coastal defenses P1

‎The sky was a bruised purple, choked with the ash of a war called the "Void's Reign." Long ago, the world trembled under the Void and his zombie legions, until global humanity united to form the GDA (Global Defense Armies). History says the GDA sealed the Void away, but the "how" remains a mystery.

‎The scene of ancient history shifts abruptly to a messy bedroom where John bolts awake to a screaming alarm. With a yell, he crushes the clock, sings goofily in the shower, and snaps into his GDA uniform. He throws open his door to a world of fire and ruins, immediately rushing out to trade his morning coffee for the recoil of a rifle as he drops encroaching zombies.

‎In the distance, the earth shudders. Dozens of Abrams tanks roar, trading fire with towering Mecha Predators. A laser beam lances through the smoke, turning a tank into a blossoming orange fireball. Amidst the carnage, John—known to his fans as gdilives—ducks a laser ball and quips to the empty air about his hatred for furries and his role in "the show." Behind him, the sea erupts as GDA warships obliterate Mecha Predators with heavy salvos.

‎Suddenly, a hammer heavy enough to crack the earth slams down. Slammer stands over a fallen Super Heavy Zombie, screaming at John to stop talking to himself and start fighting. The two become a whirlwind of steel; Slammer dodges lasers with a roar while John's energy axe carves through an X-Ordinal. Their rhythm is broken when a literal tank is hurled at them by an X-Juggernaut. John narrowly avoids being crushed, then uses a lighter to ignite the beast's leaking fuel lines, turning the Juggernaut into a funeral pyre.

‎But the victory is short-lived. A low, mechanical reboot hum echoes through the smoke. The X-Juggernaut rises from the flames, its mechanical face half-melted and eyes glowing a murderous red. "Calamity Core," Slammer warns, but it's too late.

A massive fist sends John flying. Slammer catches him, spits on the ground, and charges, shattering the beast's kneecap before the Juggernaut's torso spins 360 degrees and backhands them both into the dirt.

‎In a final, desperate gambit, John lunges forward with a scavenged crowbar. He rips open the Juggernaut's chest plate and drives the iron deep into the Calamity Core.

The machine seized and detonated in a white-hot flash. As John wraps a bandage around a wounded Slammer, a fresh X-Drop Pod slams into the ground, revealing an army of reinforcements. Hope arrives in a thunder of treads: General Juan leads a division of a hundred tanks and fifty Golden Rangers into the fray.

‎"John! Go to the safety area!" the General bellows. But before they can retreat, another shockwave tosses them aside. High above the burning battlefield, a massive holographic image flickers into existence: the cold, piercing stare of Dr. Xenon
