After my last class, I take my usual walk through the quieter part of the school. I know many students will be finished at the same time as me, so it's incredibly crowded at the lockers and coat racks again. So I walk another lap around the school, because in five minutes there won't be anyone around the lockers anymore, and I can calmly grab my things without being pushed over.
As I walk through the administrative hallway, I notice something's not right. I've always had the "talent" for noticing small details, and even now, I sense something's amiss. My eyes scan my field of vision in detail and quickly see what it is: the security camera isn't in its usual position. Normally, the camera is perpendicular to the corner of the administrative offices; now it's tilted to the left. Instinctively, I walk closer, and soon see that the camera is not only tilted but also slightly damaged. It looks like this was done intentionally. I take my phone out of my pocket and take a picture of the damaged camera, unsure why.
When I get home, the thought of the broken camera still haunts me. Why would anyone damage it? I immediately answer my own question: the camera could have filmed and thus identified the perpetrator of the stolen documents.
