February — Gryffindor vs. Slytherin
The four boys were excited the moment the match was announced.
Leo and Cedric talked about Quidditch so often in the dormitory that Rowan and Tobias had slowly, unwillingly absorbed the enthusiasm. At first, they'd pretended not to care then suddenly Rowan knew the point values and Tobias had opinions about Beater formations.
So when Gryffindor faced Slytherin, all four boys were determined to go.
Maribel and Elowen followed along mostly because they had nothing better to do and because watching their friends yell themselves hoarse was mildly entertaining.
The stands were already packed when they arrived. Red and green banners waved violently in the air, magic crackling with anticipation. Quidditch had a way of doing that—no matter your House, once the match started, everyone chose a side.
Not long after they sat down, a familiar shout echoed through the stands.
"BETTING! LAST CALL!"
Fred and George Weasley appeared like fireworks in human form, parchment and coin pouches already out. Leo noticed something different this time—people were actually lining up. No suspicious looks. No hesitation.
Looks like they'd proven this wasn't a scam.
Leo hesitated.
Then fear of missing out won.
"Uh Leo?" George grinned. "You making a bet now?"
Leo smiled sheepishly. "Just… a small one."
Fred clapped him on the shoulder. "You know, you could've joined the business."
Leo shook his head immediately. "Nope. Too much responsibility. If even one Knut goes missing, I might get hexed."
The twins laughed.
Most people bet on Slytherin players due to how ruthless they were in the field, men and women all the same, all the game he saw not one of the player survived without having a bruise. But Leo stuck with Gryffindor. Loyalty mattered due to being friend with the weasley twin and their brother Charlie Weasley was their Seeker.
Still, Leo was smart enough not to bet big. Gryffindor had already lost once that year to Ravenclaw despite catching the Snitch.
The whistle blew.
The match exploded into motion.
Brooms shot into the sky. The Quaffle was passed in blinding arcs. Gryffindor's Chasers scored early 20 points and the red side erupted.
Suddenly like flipping a switch, the Slytherin become more ruthless
Their formation was sharp, brutal. By the time anyone noticed, the scoreboard flashed:
Slytherin: 50
Gryffindor: 20
Leo barely had time to process before the crowd gasped.
Suddenly a golden snitch appear,
Charlie Weasley had spotted the Snitch.
And immediately He dove.
The golden blur darted just ahead of him, sunlight glinting off its wings. The Slytherin Seeker was right behind him—too close.
"Watch him!" Tonks shouted from the stands.
Charlie stretched—
And then it happened.
A Slytherin Beater veered far off course.
The Bludger slammed into Charlie's side.
The crack echoed.
Charlie went limp.
Gasps turned into screams as he fell straight toward the ground.
Professor McGonagall leapt to her feet, wand snapping up.
"Arresto Momentum!"
Charlie slowed, floating helplessly before being lowered to the pitch—unconscious.
And in the same second—
The Slytherin Seeker caught the Snitch.
The whistle blew.
Silence.
Then—
"CHEATER!"
Tonks screamed loudly, her voice magically amplified, echoing across the stadium. Her hair flared violently red—and wings burst from her back.
She tried to launch herself off the stands toward the Slytherin beater.
"TONKS!" Lyra, Vela, and several friends of Tonks grabbed her, dragging her back as she struggled, furious and shaking.
It was a desperate attempt for a moment before Tonks wings vanished, Tonks tore free and ran, sprinting down toward the pitch where Charlie was being levitated toward the hospital wing.
The Gryffindor stands erupted in rage.
Fred and George were halfway to drawing their wands before Leo, Cedric, and one od the twins friend restrained them.
"NOT HERE," Leo hissed.
The Slytherins shouted back, smug and vicious.
The noise grew dangerous, people started to grab their wand and
Then—
"SILENCE!"
Dumbledore's voice thundered across the stadium, amplified by Sonorus.
The entire pitch froze.
"Return to your common rooms. Now."
The order was absolute. If professor Dumbledore wasn't here there fight might get more uglier.
Later, as Leo and his friends walked back, they saw the Slytherin Beater and the other Slytherin quidditch player grinning despite Professor McGonagall banning him from the rest of the season and deduct 50 point toward the Slytherin, they know better as when that happen professor Snape would be more generous than ever for giving points to Slytherin, Leo taught that if Slytherin blink right at him, snape might awarded Slytherin with 10 point on each eye.
Leo saw his mouth movement looks like he said worth it and grinning like he the champion.
He felt something cold twist in his chest.
If this was how they acted…
What would they do to Lyra?
The Prank
Later that week, Fred and George found Leo at the empty classroom playing his violin
They brought a modified dungbombs—it was very large, the size of four people head combined
These were infused with:
Flobberworm mucus, Bubotuber pus And a concentrated essence of dragon dung.
After the twin explaining the modified dungbomb he know what they asked him to do
They asked Leo to do one thing.
Put it in the middle of Slytherin common room and put into a hidden compartment.
They knew this isn't the first time Leo pranked the Slytherin as they suspected the culprit of painting the Slytherin common room might tied to him.
Leo saw how passionate they are with this revenge and want to gain justice for Charlie, in the end Leo agree but in turn they have to recruit His brother Orion. Orion agree immediately as he also believe it was unfair and deserve justice.
During those whole day, they try to come up the plan on how to put dungbomb there without people noticing, changing leo' appearance is one things but transferring that big and heavy dungbomb will prove a challenges.
The final plan was Leo change his appearance to a Slytherin where Orion knew are not at the common room at the designated time and then Orion transfigured the dungbomb into a broom to hide the suspicion , after that, they could carry the heavy broom and put it underneath the sofa.
After the plan was finalize, Orion immediately sealed his clothes in the trunk tightly and transfer his owl to Lyra and Vela.
The days of the plan happen was a mix of anxiety and euphoria, no one suspected that Orion and Leo was planning a bomb in the common room, to other it look like they carrying a broom.
After Orion found a perfect hideout and planting that bomb when no one was looking, he transfigured back the dungbomb and activated it immedietly.
The explosion inside the Slytherin common room was legendary. The noise of the explosion shake the Slytherin common room slightly and green smoke immediately envelopes the common room without warning. What devasted the most however is the fact the there is
No windows in Slytherin houses, so it meant nowhere for the smell to escape.
Students started to gagged and vomit. Eyes streamed. Several fainted. Chaos erupted. Half the House ended up in the hospital wing due to the smell.
All Slytherin slept in the Great Hall that night.
Four of them high five each other of the masterpieces and thinks that it was well deserved, although Orion complain about sleeping in the great hall, atleast he has extra clothing to change unlike the other Slytherin whose robes smelt like dirty feet.
