"Kael, is there anything you don't like about me?" I ask.
"There is none, My Lady," he says softly.
"Then... is there anything about my actions, words, or thoughts that you disagree with?"
"I do think there are, My Lady," he replies slowly.
"And what are they?" I ask, genuinely curious.
He looks at me, his expression unreadable again. "I cannot say, My Lady. Because I would like to see for myself if they are right or wrong... but I do wish them to be wrong."
"Hm? Okay, if you say so," I say, letting out a massive yawn.
"You should sleep now, My Lady. You have to get ready early in the morning for the Grand Convergence."
"Yeah, I'm so exhausted from Madam Valecourt, you can't even imagine," I say, sinking deeper into the soft pillows.
He nods and stands up from the bed. But he hesitates for a long moment before stepping back toward the door.
"You want to say something else?" I ask, watching him.
