During the holidays I ended up binge-watching The Big Bang Theory with a couple of close friends. It reminded me of how much I loved the show when it first came out, but revisiting it now, some of the jokes feel a little more cruel than funny. One thing that really stood out to me again was how Raj's character was handled—he was easily the sweetest of the group, yet the writers never really gave him the ending he deserved.
That thought stuck with me, and somewhere along the way it turned into a writer's itch I just had to scratch. So this little fanfiction project was born. It's going to be a short one, maybe around 40–50 chapters, and I'm not entirely sure how it will turn out—but that's part of the fun.
