"Ah, what he means is that he's so excited to eat at your place that he can't even wait anymore," Ren smiled, trying to cover up.
"That's not what I meant…" Su'er tried speaking up.
"I'll place the orders," Ren instantly said. He ordered some casual soups and meat. "Thanks."
The old man still had cold eyes on them as he turned and walked off.
Ren sighed as he stared down at the lion. "Can you please not talk for like… another year?" he spoke with a calm smile.
"No. I only said the truth," Su'er huffed.
Zuran sat there, observing all that was happening. His eyes were constantly on Ren, whom he was still trying to understand.
Ren felt strange and new to him. He didn't understand him anymore, at least.
The Ren he knew wouldn't do this. He wasn't this calm and understanding. He wasn't this soft.
