There were two separate rooms inside the hospital—one where the boy's mother was admitted, and another where his father lay. The boy was afraid that both of them might die within ten days. It had already been five days since his parents were hospitalized.
That day, the boy came to visit them and left fresh flowers in each of their rooms. When he left the hospital, he boarded a train. Suddenly, the earth began to shake. The sky turned red like blood, and everyone panicked, fearing that this might be the end of the world.
As monsters began rampaging through the city, a blinding yellow light shone across the sky, causing every monster to implode on the spot. After witnessing this miracle with his own eyes, the boy thought to himself, Maybe this yellow light can save my mother and father.
Determined, he searched for information about the yellow light in history books and ancient mythologies, but he found no traces of any mighty yellow light. No records. No legends.
The next day, after the blood-red sky incident, the boy was once again traveling by train to his parents' hospital when the person sitting next to him suddenly started talking.
"Do you know," the man said, "that a human can cross a line beyond humanity?"
The boy was confused. Before he could respond, the man continued,
"Don't you ever feel cursed, Ryoka?"
The boy gasped. "How do you know my name?!"
The man smiled. "You still don't recognize me? One day, you will."
Panicked, Ryoka ran to his parents' hospital room, convinced that the man was a kidnapper. He spoke to his parents about everything that had happened over the past few days. Even though they were in a coma, he truly believed they could hear him.
As he left the hospital, he suddenly noticed a shadowy figure standing nearby. The figure wore ancient armor, wielded massive dual blades, and was surrounded by a terrifying red aura.
The man spoke."Did you miss me, Ryoka?"
Ryoka began to tremble in fear, yet something about the man's voice felt strangely nostalgic.
"A-are y-you the man from the t-train?" Ryoka stuttered.
The man laughed. "I thought you'd forget me, Ryoka. Scared of me, aren't you? Don't worry—I'm just here to take your little heart away. By the way… I'm Escarath, a devil from hell!"He laughed maniacally.
"A-a d-devil?!" Ryoka cried.
"Yes," Escarath replied. "Haven't you seen my buddies two days ago?"
"S-so y-you and t-those k-kaijus are d-devils?" Ryoka begged. "P-please d-don't take my life. I-I'll do anything you s-say!"
"Aw, cute," Escarath said coldly. "But no."
Ryoka trembled in terror as suddenly, a golden shadow emerged from the sky. Massive wings spread wide, and a radiant halo shone above its head.
