I kept shaking Allen's shoulders. Harder and harder. His body was getting colder under my hands. His eyes were fully closed now. His pulse had dropped and it only worsened my panic. There was no way that I was going to let him leave me like this.
"Allen! Wake up! Please!" My voice cracked as I kept shaking his body. I pressed my hands over the wound in his chest, but there was barely any blood left to stop. Whatever that Null Relic thing was, it was doing something worse than just bleeding him out. His skin had turned a sick grey color. I could feel the warmth leaving him fast.
I screamed for help again. Louder this time. "Somebody! Guards! Anyone!" My throat burned. No one came. The hallway stayed empty except for the two of us and the hybrid standing a few steps away, watching like this was entertainment.
