I opened my eyes and I realized I was back in the palace, at the same spot I was holding Allen.
But something was different this time. There was this electrifying sensation that took over me. It started in my chest and spread through every part of my body at once. I felt my bones morphing, and my muscles were visibly transforming.
My vision became clearer and I could see even the smallest details. The dizziness from the injection was gone. It was like I was an all new person.
I stood up slowly.
Lilith and the hybrid both turned around from where they were standing over Allen's body. Immediately he saw me, his hollow eyes went wide.
