It was the 1980's , England still has its old charm of vintage streets and its old societies. Nothing really changed since the 1960's, people still buried their noses in the newspapers and those who can afford the television watched their new programs. But, yes underneath all their ancient history some modern technological advancements are being invented. They still don't know how their lives are going to change in the upcoming years.
But enough about the muggles, lets come to our very own wizarding society of magical Britain. It has also been through two wars in its own way. But fortunately the second wizarding war was just ended when I was born.
Yep.... I and my twin brother was just born few months after the war ended. I still find hard to believe that I was reincarnated in what I believe is Harry Potter world. Because god forbid that I was in some horrible fanfiction. Yes I am a fan of Harry Potter series and I am not ashamed to say that I have read the books and watched the movies countless times over my first life.
As supposed to many other readers, the books defined my childhood and a way of escape in my adult life. And like any other Potterhead I have also dreamt of being a witch and going to Hogwarts. So I really hope that for my sake I am a witch because if I am I am not I believe that there is no point in my second life.
No point in rambling about what you can't change. ( But I am really 98% sure that I am a witch and yeah there's this 2% doubt, I'm sure it nothing to worry about. )
Let me introduce myself and my family. I am Ashlyn Carter, the third child and only daughter of Carter family. My twin Alex ( Alexander), my elder brother Addam is two years older than us and my mother Serena Carter a full time house wife and a part time potion master, not Snape level of course, my mother is a good potion master if not the best. And did I tell you my madre is part Spanish.

My dad Adrian Carter, works at the ministry in Department of International Magical Co Operation. He is a pretty chill guy. Did I forgot to mention that we are one of the some of the less prominent pureblood families. We don't have any seat in Wizengamot or any family magic( less drama actually ). We are not as rich as the Malfoy's or as poor as the Weasley 's we are some what in the middle. Our family is affluent enough I would say.
