Chapter 32 - chapter 32: The Kiss at Namsan Tower

Seoul shimmered beneath them.

Thousands of city lights blinked like stars that had fallen to earth.

The soft hum of life echoed far below, distant and dreamlike.

Jisoo stood beside her at the edge of the viewing deck, hands in his pockets, his breath fogging gently in the glass.

Sera clutched a cup of warm chocolate, half-forgotten in her hands. She wasn't looking at the view.

She was looking at him.

They'd been walking through Namsan Park all evening — teasing, laughing, brushing hands every now and then. Jisoo even dared to let himself smile.

But now… now the silence said more than their voices ever could.

Sera broke it first.

"You've been different since that day."

He didn't ask which day.

He knew.

"I guess I'm just tired of pushing people away," he muttered.

She stepped closer, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Then stop pushing me."

That made him turn.

Her eyes — full of something soft and wild — burned into his.

"I'm right here, Jisoo."

And that was it.

His hands moved before his mind did — one rising to cup her face, thumb grazing her cheek, the other sliding around her waist.

Sera leaned in like she'd been waiting her whole life for it.

Their lips met.

And the world fell quiet.

It wasn't shy.

It wasn't hesitant.

It was hungry — full of missed chances and bottled-up heat.

He kissed her like he needed to know if she was real.

She kissed him back like she was afraid he'd disappear.

Her hands found his chest, then slid up to grip his shoulders, fingers curling into the fabric of his coat.

His fingers slipped into her hair, tilting her head just enough to deepen the kiss.

Soft gasps.

Crushed breath.

Time — undone.

Jisoo's hand pressed against her lower back, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them.

Her lips parted, and he drank in the warmth like it was salvation.

When they finally pulled apart — flushed, dazed, trembling — they didn't speak.

He rested his forehead against hers, breathing uneven.

"You ruin me," he whispered.

"Then I'll stay," she whispered back. "So you're never ruined alone."

They didn't say what they were now.

Didn't need to.

Some things aren't defined in words.

Some things are written in breathless kisses under towers that touch the sky.

And frankly enough , they preferred it that way.
