Chapter 34 - A Bountiful Harvest — The Kirlia Capture Battle!

This time, Aiden Flint had captured a total of ten Eevee.

Among them, the two with Purple potential would become his main cultivation targets, while the remaining eight would serve as backups.

Both of the Purple-tier Eevee were Level 16, meaning their future evolutions were entirely up to them. Whatever path they chose, Aiden had more than enough Evolution Stones to support them—including the lower-potential Eevee.

After all, once an Eevee evolved, its potential could be enhanced further through Potential Evolution Stones. Over time, the next generation born within the Eevee tribe would naturally have a higher probability of superior potential, becoming a steady source of elite Pokémon for Aiden.

By placing some of the Potential Evolution Stones within the Eevee tribe's area in the System Space, Aiden had already solved their long-term development problem.

Every Pokémon he captured inside the protection zone was treated as either a core member or a reserve.

Even Ponyta, for example, could serve as a mount and transport Pokémon.

If Ponyta produced offspring in the future, any high-potential ones could also be trained as main combatants.

After all, even Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and Champions had multiple Pokémon of the same species in their lineups.

Take Norman, the Petalburg Gym Leader—his strongest ace, Slaking, was at the peak of pseudo–Elite Four level when facing Aiden. But in Gym battles, he could never use that Slaking. He would have to send out other Slaking instead.

Otherwise, how many Trainers in all of Hoenn would ever be able to obtain the Balance Badge?

That was exactly why Aiden intended to cultivate high-potential Pokémon from the Lairon tribe and the Eevee tribe as reserve combatants.

They would serve as alternative battle partners.

Of course, if they didn't like fighting, Aiden would never force them.

In that case, they could simply live inside the System Space and focus on strengthening their tribes.

Afterward, Aiden encountered three more Ponyta—one Blue-tier and two Green-tier. He captured them all, allowing his original Ponyta to form a small "harem" and happily begin producing offspring inside the System Space.

He also captured four Nidorino and Nidorina—two males and two females—all of them Blue-tier.

There were also four Rhyhorn—one male and three females—with two Blue-tier and two Green-tier.

At this point, Aiden had captured twenty-two Pokémon inside the protection zone, leaving him with only eight Park Balls.

As night fell, Aiden released all the newly captured Pokémon and distributed Berries from the System Space, spending the first night together with them in the wild.

The next day, Aiden asked around about rare pseudo-legendary Pokémon like Bagon, Beldum, and Larvitar.

Unfortunately, he received a disappointing answer.

None of the Pokémon here had ever seen such creatures.

That made sense.

Even if Verdanturf Town was wealthy, no one would place pseudo-legendary Pokémon into a public protection zone for Trainers to capture.

So Aiden shifted his focus to the next best targets—

Gardevoir and Flygon.

Gardevoir was a Hoenn-exclusive Psychic-type Pokémon and extremely popular among Trainers.

Some even called it a "waifu Pokémon."

There were even twisted people who married their Gardevoir.

That alone proved just how high Gardevoir's popularity was.

Flygon, meanwhile, was often considered a substitute for Salamence—Dragon-type plus Ground-type, capable of flight, making it an excellent mount and battle Pokémon.

If he encountered one, Aiden definitely wouldn't miss the chance.

Through Eevee's information network, Aiden finally learned the location of Kirlia.

With Eevee as his guide and Ponyta as his mount, Aiden began searching for them.

But Kirlia was difficult to catch.

They could use Teleport at will.

If they wanted to avoid someone, tracking them down was nearly impossible.

After an entire day of searching without even seeing a strand of Kirlia's hair, Aiden had no choice but to give up for the time being.

Along the way, however, he encountered several Vibrava larvae and used four Park Balls to capture them, hoping to cultivate a powerful Flygon in the future.

What surprised him was that all four Vibrava were Blue-tier.

That left him with only four Park Balls.

Determined not to waste them, Aiden decided he would now focus solely on Kirlia.

Another night passed.

On the final day, the entire morning went by without any sign of Kirlia.

With only a few hours left before the capture event ended, Aiden was starting to lose hope.

But fate liked to play tricks.

Just when Aiden was ready to give up—

He heard Kirlia's laughter nearby.

The moment he realized what it was, he immediately dropped into the grass, not daring to make a sound.

Looking ahead, he saw two Kirlia leaning against each other, their posture gentle and intimate.

"Ding! Kirlia's current attributes are as follows."

Pokémon: Kirlia

Level: 21

Ability: Telepathy

Type: Fairy / Psychic

Potential: Purple

Bond Evolution: Locked

Mega Evolution: Locked

Moves: Confusion, Teleport, Hypnosis, Draining Kiss, Psybeam, Destiny Bond, Confuse Ray…

Friendship: 15

The two Kirlia had identical status panels.

Same level.

Same hidden ability.

Same potential.

They were true twins.

Their skill sets were rich, and their Purple-tier potential made them incredibly valuable.

The moment Aiden saw them, he made up his mind.

Even if he had to bring out his strongest Pokémon, he would capture both of them.

One Gardevoir was happiness.

Two Gardevoir sisters?

That was double the happiness.

And he wanted it all for himself.

Just as Aiden began to move, secretly sending his ten Eevee underground using Dig to get closer—

Something unexpected happened.
