[3rd POV]
The start of their last final day had been a good one. With the oh so adorable Haley waking up around an hour after Billie did. The girl had slept more than enough, and had gotten into the shower not much later. The two of them had of course once again showered together.
They very much enjoyed what went on inside of that shower.
After Haley had woken up, they had made their way over to the cafe like usual. This time they had both decided on getting the same things they had gotten on their first day, as they were the favorites of both of them.
The meal had once again been delicious, and further had shown to Haley and Billie that the cafe was legitimately one of the most consistent restaurants either had ever been to. So much so that neither of them could really find a comparison back in LA, except maybe the higher end restaurants that they had been to back home.
But those restaurants were a hell of a lot cheaper than the cafe, and were primarily dinners and lunches. Not breakfast items and coffees, which was why Billie had liked the place so much. She decided she'd be finding some places back in LA that were similar.
Honestly she was contemplating the idea of straight up buying some of them. Owning a few Cafe's and other restaurants can make her a ton of money, and would give her the means to grow them into something genuinely impressive.
She was "In touch" enough to know what she would need to do to keep them running, popular, and most importantly profitable.
After they had their breakfast at the Cafe, the two of them had decided on doing a number of things that day. Like going to the Eiffel Tower and finally seeing Paris from the top of it. Something that they had not done just yet, since they wanted to leave it as the last thing to do for the trip.
That way they can explore and enjoy everything else and end it off with a "Bang" of sorts. Without wasting any time on something that was...well, not really all that much. It was basically just standing on the top of a tower looking over the city, really not the most impressive thing in the world.
It was more so the history of the tower and the actual appearance of the tower from afar itself that Billie and Haley had liked.
The first stop for the day had been a store that sold records. They had found it after quite a lot of research, and both of them had been very excited when they saw just how many they had. They had thousands for sale, and many of them were not in their collection.
Yeah, they had decided since they were going to move in together, they decided that they were going to merge their collections together. This way they didn't buy repeats, and could both enjoy the collection together.
At the shop itself, they ended up buying around two dozen records. With quite an assortment of records in all sorts of areas. With the most expensive record that they had decided to buy being around two thousand dollars.
It was a great addition to their collection though, so neither of them complained about the price of it. There were more expensive records that they had, but they decided against buying it for now. They didn't want to just outright buy them all at the same time, but they wanted to slowly but surely build their collection.
Similarly to how she was going to go about her pokemon collection over the years. Well, that and she was just opening a ton of packs and stuff. She had the money for it, even if it was pretty much a form of gambling. But hey, the cards looked cool so it was worth it in her mind.
After they had visited the records store for around half an hour, Billie had decided on the next spot. This had been a shop that sold snacks and other goods that were specific to the Europe area. Billie had mostly chosen this because she wanted to bring some snacks that were native to the area back home. She also thought it would be something that Luke would like, and maybe a few other members of the family.
Either way they had stocked up on all sorts of snacks. Most of them were from France, Italy, Germany, and Ireland. The snacks were of all sorts, with there being sweet, savory, sour, basically all types that they thought could be good and interesting.
And all of them were of course legal for them to buy, purchase, and transport back to the US. That was something that they were very careful about, as neither of them were very interested in getting in trouble for buying something that they couldn't even bring back to the US.
They had spent a few hundred dollars on all of the snacks that they had bought. With quite a few of them being rather premium snacks that were over twenty dollars. They had not bought any that were truly expensive, like those outrageously expensive chocolates that some of the stores they had seen sold. Those chocolates cost like hundreds of dollars for a single bar.
Which was insane, even by their standards. Sure, they spent a lot of money on a lot of things, but even they had limits. And spending three hundred dollars on a single bar of chocolate? Yeah, that was definitely one of them.
After buying their tasty snacks, they had moved onto a few other stores.
They had bought all sorts of souvenirs from all of these different stores. Ones that were specifically and only found inside of Paris and France in general. These were of course for the other members of the family, and they had even gotten a few magnets for fridges or whatever else.
They had bought enough of said magnets for each of the family members to use on whatever they wanted.
After they finished buying a number of souvenirs for the rest of the family, they had gone and bought some more clothes and all of that. Something that Haley had wanted mostly. While Billie had actually gone and bought some for herself.
But her clothes were a bit more her style. Not really emo, but kind of...punk almost? Either way, they had gone clothes shopping, and even bought some more jewelry on top of that. But the jewelry that they did buy was not even remotely as expensive as the watch that Billie had bought or anything like that.
By the time that they had finished shopping, it had been around dinner time. And this time they had finished on yet another Michelin star restaurant. This time it was specializing in classical French cuisine, and was absolutely delicious.
But now the two had made their way to the Eiffel Tower. Standing at the top of the tower on the observatory, they looked off into the distance, standing next to one another, leaning against each other.
"It's beautiful" Haley whispered, as they heard the chatter of all the others that were looking off into the city from the best view.
"It sure is" Billie replied with a small smile.
"...We definitely have to come back here in the future" Haley replied, as Billie looked at her before nodding.
"Oh we will. But at that time we'll be taking a tour all around France, and maybe even Italy. We could spend an entire summer here" Billie said, as Haley smiled at the idea, excited. It would be fun, when they did eventually have the time and chance to do that.
And as they stood next to one another, gazing off into the distance at the city of Paris, they both enjoyed the silence.
And thus ended the final day in Paris.
