It's my first day of high school. I'm standing at the bus stop waiting for my ride to another year of misery. I stare at my black boots in silence. I used to have something to look forward to. Someone. As I sit there in silence, my mind starts to go back to that very time, when I was little. Me and a boy named Evan were close. We always had been. Our mothers are still best friends. I wish I could say the same about me and Evan. Me and Evan grew apart near the end of 8th grade. He ended up getting with a girl named Kiana and stopped talking to me.
I'm just sitting there. Lost in my thoughts. Until I hear my name being called. I turn around, to see my best friend Emma. "IZZYYYYYY!!!!!" she screams and jumps into my arms, I giggle "heh- hey emmy!" I look at her, she's gorgeous, she has long,straight, dark blue hair.Green eyes, And her skin is velvet pale, she has black painted bitten fingernails, and she's wearing her converse and a short black dress. She has her hair half up half down. Meanwhile, I'm in black boots, and I'm wearing black baggy jeans with stitched stars on the side. My hair is dyed wine red. It's short and choppy, and down. My nails are the same, but I'm shorter than Emma.
Then, the bus arrived, me and Emma got on and went to the last row. We sat in an open seat and started talking "what do you think this year is going to be like Izzy?" Emma asks. "No better than the last." I replied. "Hmm. interesting." she says.
A few weeks later, we formed a friend group, there's 3 girls and 3 boys. There's me, Emma, a girl named Annie, then there's Kyle,Conner,and Zane. We're all goth, misfit, losers, but we all understand and love each other and that's all that matters as far as we're concerned
were a month and 1/2 into school. I was wrong about my prediction, this year is fucking awesome. me and Kyle got together. and I love him very much. at least I think I do. I've kinda forgotten what love feels like since me and Evan grew apart to be honest.
I forgot to mention. me and Evan are Neighbors. and our family's spend a lot of time together. Me and Kyle are hanging out at my house today. he's spending the night. my parents aren't home. fast-forward to after school. he's riding on the bus with me and Emma. "GUYSSSSSUHHHH IM SO BOREDDDD" Emma says while doing a heavy sigh I giggle. Emma always knows how to make me happy, "haha- then don't be bored!" I reply "NUHUHHHHHH- HEHEHEHEHHE-" Emma replys "Emma calm down lol-" I say. the rest of the ride is silent.
