"They can't take him, I still need to check on him." Masha said, his voice turning protective.
"They have been looking for him day and night, and the way we left things there, this might be a chance to get back without much drama. There's nothing I can do about it now. If they miss finding him here and today, there might just be more questions. We still don't have things in order, but they will be very soon." Jethro replied, keeping his tone measured.
Before they could say more, they heard movements outside the door.
Lord Jethro knew that they must not see him there. Without hesitation, he moved quickly and slipped into the toilet that was still positioned in the middle of the room, the door shutting behind him with barely a sound.
