Scarlett POV
We were now surrounded, guns pointing at both of us. I raised my hands up in surrender, but Xavier? He just had a blank expression. He seemed relaxed.
Almost like he was n a beach.
"What are you doing…?" I whispered, moving closer to him. "We are already surrounded, the best is to surrender." I tried to explain, but he just scoffed with a mischievous smirk on his lips, revealing a bit of his extra-white set of teeth.
"Power is patience, Pony," he simply said, and I had the urge to slap him with my slippers. This is not the time to talk in his mischievous tone or quote verses.
If we make a single mistake, they would pull the trigger without thinking since we had already hurt their boss.
He turned his head around, his gaze focused on the man I had brutally hit with the car. He was a mess, his flesh torn and blood oozing out. He couldn't even sit straight; his men were the ones holding him as they tried to close up the possible injuries he had.
