Sunny, Cassie and Effie were making their way through the streets towards the ruined cathedral. They were being as quiet as possible to not draw any Nightmare Creatures towards them - but a few found their way towards them
Effie saw the creature and went on guard she summoned the Zenith shard - Her spear and got ready for battle - "It's a Blood Fiend..."
She was about to warn them to get into a battle formation to kill it swiftly before other Nightmare Creatures were drawn to the sounds of battle
Sunny whipped out serpent in the form of a bow and summoned the blood arrow and shot the creature directly in the center of its deformed head killing it within seconds
"Blood Fiend - Awakened monster, main things to worry about is the long hands and the claws and those deformed teeth" - he walked past Effie with Cassie and turned around, he had to see the look on her face now that she just saw a sleeper one shot an Awakened monster - "I've dealt with a few of them before - Anyway let's get going"
"Yeah... and when we get to your place you better explain how you just did that"
"Oh? - I can just say it now - this arrow uses blood to form itself and my blood is very poisonous"
Effie continued to walk her face scrunched in a - How poisonous is your blood to kill an awakened monster - kind of look
...
The trio had reached their destination after a while
"I'd never expect you to stay in a church Sunny" - Effie spoke, sarcasm lacing her words
"I actually stayed here with a flaming deity a while back though she was very demanding when it came to cuddles so I had to plan and get her a castle - Though something tells me she won't lower the demands at all" - He retorted
"You sure it was just cuddl..."
Sunny ignored her and formed his wings carrying Cassie to the open window on the top, He left Cassie to stand there for a few seconds and went back out to look at Effie - "Yeah i have wings can you stop gaping like a fish and come up"
"Yeah..." - She shook her head and began to climb up. Effie looked around the empty room - "Sunny did you stay in the empty place..."
Her tone carried shock and even slight worry
Whether the worry was for Sunny's sanity or the fact that she too would be staying here - maybe even both, Effie did not know.
"Yeah, don't worry though I turned everything here into memories - Something to take back" - Like that a fury of sparks erupted. A cleanly made bed on the side. A closet with Armor. A basin and the endless spring besides it. And a table
"Neat tricks" - Effie whistled.
After setting down. Effie and Cassie sat on the bed. To which sunny insisted while he sat at the opposite side of the table. He pulled out several strips of meat, handed 2 to Cassie and 10 to Effie. While he munched on 2 himself.
"Sunny why did you Ask us here - I get me because she has to hide but why Cassie - not that I'm unhappy or dont want her here I'm just curious"
"Oh, it's simple really" - he said taking a breath. His eyes turned to Effie.
"Effie, would you like to know the future?"

3 exhausting hours had passed - An hour longer than Kai because Effie often interrupted.
Effie doubted Sunnys words almost everything in fact. - but once she heard sunny bring up the fact that she was unable to walk in the real world - her doubts dissipated. Unlike Kai who grew a sense of maturity and purpose Effie still seemed laid back - Though her gazes towards sunny and Cassie turned softer.
"And as for your earlier question the reason you and Cassie here, is to train"
"Train?" - She held up both her hands in a pose and flexed her biceps flexing - "Sorry Sunny but i believe I'm Trained well enough"
"Not that kind of training " - Sunny said with an eye roll before turning to Cassie
"Cassie, you remember serpent right" - Cassie looked at him in an odd way - Seemingly asking if that's really a question.
"Well, she's a titan now" - Cassie nodded - "Make sense since you're a titan too"
Effie spoke still in disbelief - "I still can't believe you can grow ranks - and Nephis"
"Yeah, it's not exactly easy though. I had to kill like 26 thousand Nightmare creatures to become a Titan."
Effie stopped chewing on the piece of meat, her mouth wide open and so was Cassie - both looking at Sunny as if he had a big billboard saying
"Yes, yes. So, shocking anyway - The reason I requested to have you here was because serpent has an ability called the grace of shadows - Meaning I can give you a little serpent and the ability to use a rather nifty ability of mine"
After Sunnys words set in Effie looked at him.
"This serpent...?"
Sunny didn't leave her waiting and decided to explain with a visual demonstration - He summoned serpent, the Shadow snake altering her size to fit in the room
"Yours won't be as big - since they will always remain a beast and will grow in rank with you"
Sunny smiled - "But they can turn into any weapon you think of, and you can move essence - Even if it's a little bit since we're just sleepers oh and Cassie..."
"yes...?"
"You know how I told you of my ability - Shadow sense"
A rather confused tone stated to grow in her voice - "I remember... You said it was like seeing with the shadows..." - Her breath hitched towards the end - "I'll be able to see again"
"Somewhat - But you will be able to do a lot on your own with practice - I use it more than my own eyes, with some mastering you can fight too - That's why I've called you 2 here. You and Effie are going to learn shadow sense - Just like Kai"
Cassie had tears rolling with a beyond happy smile. Effie held a hand around the blind girl's shoulder patting it gently
"I also have a few gifts"
The girls looked at him incredulously - "Sunny how can we ask for more"
"don't be like that - You know very well everything I'm going to give you will be a help"
They looked at him a grateful look in their eyes
Sunny was very scared seeing such an expression of Effie - 'Did skin walker possess someone early'
He clapped his hand loudly - "Well enough sappy let's get to the gifts"
Sunny gave them the mark of shadows.
Effie was shocked and pretty happy to have a snake tattoo that could move while Cassie seemed happy to have a pet of her own
Sunny handed them some memories all decently powerful ones that complimented their skills.
Effie got an Armor built for a mix of movement and toughness - A spear that was unnaturally sharp and the shield he'd been using as a mirror, aside from this he gave her a charm or 2 that increased strength and durability - Thinking about it Sunny also gave her the echo of one of the ants - A fallen monster
Cassie got a long sword that was quite light and an Armor similar to Effie's, but this one substituted the strength enchantment for speed to suit her build - He also gave her a charm that could enhance her senses - which now included Shadow Sense
Being blind her other senses would have sky rocked in effectiveness especially now that she was decently adapted to it
"Well, now that everyone is ready let's train"
