Arc 1 Chapter 8 Burn Your Self!
Things always did not go well for Albert even when it comes to fighting he could never predict what the enemy is thinking or even he's comrades, to him people were unpredictable even when it came to the smallest things and right now in this moment which he did not see coming two brats and especially one who he told to stay away from the battle field, was standing right in front of him along with his friend whom the boy trusted and wanted to protect since he was his master and best friend after all, and the same two boys standing in front of him were facing an enemy who was more powerful than them, but the boys still stood there with determination on their eyes.
Albert: I can't believe this, I mean I understand Alex but you too Sion?
Alex: what's that suppose to mean?
Sion: well I... uh I just wanna go with the flow for once okay!
Albert: oh god hey Rachel...!?
Rachel: what in the name of God!? I never thought I could ever meet anyone like him in my life TIME!! hehehehe!
Albert: hey are you good?
Rachel: oh I never felt better in my life, I mean look at him even Judgement eyes are shining. My Judgement eyes had never laid eyes on someone who has such a golden heart! (while pointing at Alex).
Albert: don't tell me you fell in love in the middle of the battle.
Rachel: not only that but there's something strange, powerful and dangerous about his attribute though? I wonder what's the cause of that?
Albert: well it doesn't matter cuz it's about to go down now.
Alex and Sion activated their [aura release] to get ready to battle Rox who was still standing there emitting dark aura and without warning he teleported behind Sion but Alex hit him with a [fire punch LV2] and Rox couldn't defend in time and took it to the chest but he quickly recovered.
Albert: how was that possible? How did Alex react that fast? Don't tell me... He learned how to control the flow of his aura when he was passed out? If so then how did he pull it off at one night? No at a few hours!?... Haha I see but I'm sorry Lynn but I'm gonna have to skip some few steps when training your son cuz he's body was made for adapting to more harsher and advanced things than that! (with a grin)
While Albert was thinking to himself, the battle was still going and Sion and Alex were slowly adapting to Rox's fighting style, Rox used [shadow dance] to manipulate shadows and make them physical to throw multiple of them at Sion and Alex but they dodged them and close the distance to counter Rox.
Alex: [fire punch LV3]
Sion: [ lightning LV2]
Rox got hit on both sides of his ribs and he started coughing out blood but he was still standing and he unleashed another dark attribute spell.
Rox: [rapid shadow balls LV5]
Alex: [sword rapid slash technique LV4]
When Rox fired multiple dark attribute magic balls at Alex and Sion, Alex took all of them down with his rapid slashes and now Albert was shocked beyond compare.
Albert: wait wait wait... What the Fuck was that? Not only did he unleash a leve 3 fire punch but also a level 4 rapid slash? But according to Lynn he shouldn't be able to do that! And Sion's techniques have leveled up a bit as well... Well screw it, it's not something to worry abou—
Rachel: no something is wrong... Their power keeps increasing at an abnormal rate, especially the cute red head one, he's power is increasing and it's affecting the white head as well.
Albert: well no shit, now I'm actually worried.
The battle against Rox was now reaching a climax when Rox stood still and clapped his hands together.
Sion: Alex here it comes are you ready?
Alex: yeah.
Rox: [ Ultimate skill: Shadow Wave]
And just like that everything around Alex and Sion turned black and they found their selves inside a dark world where there was nothing but darkness and shadows without light but the difference is that they could see each other but Rox was no where to be seen.
Sion: he used this last time when he kidnapped Lucia, it's a world where he can move anywhere and not limited by the number of shadows.
Alex: ughh this place is making my flames go crazy ughh it... Hurts... It reminds me of the dark place in my.... Ughh dreams...
Sion: ALEX! Hold on! Control your aura!
Alex: I... Can't I'm GAAAAH
Rox: what's wrong your own flames burning you alive?! Out of fear!
Alex's eyes turned completely white, he's hair stood up and pattern like tattoos appeared and Sion froze because of the overwhelming aura that Alex emitted and as for Rox he understood one thing... That Alex wasn't trapped in there with him but "he" was trapped in there with Alex. In the meantime outside the shadow wave barrier.
Albert: how long are they gonna be there and how long are those shit heads from the justice guild are gonna take to get here and treat the injured people.
Rachel: they are already treating the people, it looks like your maids did a good job at keeping the people away from harm's way.
Albert: I guess... Hey is it me or the sphere barrier is turning red?
Rachel: he's coming and this power... Is just absurd.
Albert: what is it?
Rachel: we gotta get out of here NOW!
Albert and Rachel kept their distance away from the sphere and right after they got away, the sphere exploded and Sion came out holding the unconscious Lucia at his hands and immediately ran to where Albert and Rachel were.
Albert: Sion! Is...is that Lucia?!
Sion: (huff...huff) yeah, when Alex overheated the shadow wave, Rox couldn't control his ability so he released the shadow wave and Lucia in the heat of the moment.
Albert: I see but what happened to Alex?! Why did he go berserk again?
Sion: I don't know! He's aura lost control the moment we entered the shadow world.
Albert: damn it... Kid IF YOU CAN HEAR ME... GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!
But Albert's words couldn't reach him as Alex was focused on Rox.
Rox: shit I almost died back there and I lost the girl too...and I don't think you're gonna let me run away.
Alex:....
It looks like Rox is on death row and he's situation is completely helpless but he still kept his ground in an attempt to fight back at the berserk Alex.
Rox: man I just wish I could have smashed a pretty ladie's pussy one last time... Well here I GO!
Alex: ....
