Lin Meiyin goes to her room and closes the door. "Son of a b**** " she cursed.
She sits on the bed and then her grip tightened on the bed. She looks at the wedding ring in her hand and remembers something, when she saved him he opened his eyes and he coughed water on her face "that wasn't a very nice thing to do"she said wiping her face with her sleeve. The person slowly opens his eyes and looks at her his eyes shining "You saved my life"he said.
"You're so stupid, what's so important about that dumb seashell than your life at least they gave you a second chance to live" she said.
"You mean girl, I won't marry you again" he said.
"You look like you would make a handsome husband, I hope you change your mind" she said.
"Okay I'm giving you another chance" said the boy.
"Okay I hope you won't see other girls and then dump me I'll come beat you up with a stick when I come find you, my mom said marriage is not child's play"said Lin Meiyin.
"Fine I promise "he said raising his hand.
"Meiyin , my name's Lin Meiyin, what's your name " Lin Meiyin asked.

" Meiyin where are you?" Came her mother's voice.
"I got to go bye future husband" she said running off.
Lin Meiyin continues with writing and then submits her work. Lin Meiyin didn't come out of her room until evening, Gu Chenyu comes into the room and sees a familiar figure curled up on the bed fast asleep her laptop was still turned on, he looks at the content it was a book The Second Chance For a Broken Heart.
He remembers something as he sits next to her they where at the beach.
"Meiyin my name's Lin Meiyin what's your name?"
"I'm-
"Meiyin where are you "
"I've got to go, bye future husband"
The little boy look at the girl running away
"Lin Meiyin" he said with a smile and then he takes off his eye contacts, showing a pair of glass clear eyes. He throws them away and then his mother rushes to meet him
"Gu Chenyu oh my God are you okay" she said hugging him. But he was absent mindedly looking at the direction the little girl went, he wondered if he would ever see her again.
Gu Chenyu snaps out of his thoughts and now she was here lying next to him. Lin Meiyin rolls and mutters something to herself, Gu Chenyu covers her with a blanket and then goes to the garden.
He drinking some tea when he hears an annoying voice.
"Hello brother in law" came Lin Xuewei's voice.
Gu Chenyu looks at her and says nothing and continues sipping his tea.
Lin Xuewei sits down "How's sister in law I saw her outside with Zihan earlier, I don't know where she is now" she said with a smile.
Gu Chenyu looks at his face filled with disgust
"The two of you are such a sweet couple I wonder how you and my sister met, was it when she ran away from home, you look just like Zihan" she said, hinting something. "My sister swore that she would love no one else but Zihan, I'm surprised that she moved on, or did she really move on or she's just using you to remember him" said Lin Xuewei. Gu Chenyu's facial expression changes slightly and he looks at Lin Xuewei who was still talking, "Lin Meiyin's still in love with Zihan-
"Aren't you ashamed of yourself sowing discord here, I'm not falling for that find someone else with low IQ to buy your disgusting schemes, who gave you such an audacity to sit next to me, next time you approach me I'll break your legs I wouldn't even care if you're Gu Zihan's little whore" he said standing up and leaving his face filled with disgust. Lin Xuewei felt shivers run down her spine and as she gulped. It turns out Gu Chenyu wasn't an easy man, how did Lin Meiyin manage to wrap him around her little fingers. Lin Xuewei felt jealous of Lin Meiyin having someone like Gu Chenyu by herself. "I can't let her have him" she said to herself planning something, she didn't even remember the last time Gu Zihan took her out to have fun she was just like a house wife. When Gu Chenyu went back to the room Lin Meiyin was already awake the blanket fell off her body, she was yawning and stretching when the door opened revealing Gu Chenyu's intimidating face. Lin Meiyin pauses and was a little embarrassed she wondered why Gu Chenyu was looking at her that way, "Why are you staring at me like that you haven't seen a woman who just woke up from a short nap" she said.
Gu Chenyu gives her a side glance and then he goes to the balcony sitting there. Lin Meiyin felt annoyed "Sometimes he's like a teenager with emotional problems she" said to herself, and going into the bathroom.
The new year family gathering was about to begin and Lin Meiyin puts on a red dress and comes downstairs with Gu Chenyu. "When are we leaving?" She asked him.
"Next tomorrow " he replied.
"I want to sleep and wake up till that day" said Lin Meiyin, following him to the garden.
"Aunt Si was roasting some lamb with the best daughter in law Lin Xuewei, who was like an obedient daughter an outsider would be fooled by her attitude she was like a meek lamb but on the inside a dog. "Ahh sister is here where have you been can you come help us out I'll show you" said Lin Xuewei dragging Lin Meiyin away. "Can I borrow sister for a bit I hope brother in law wouldn't mind " she said with a smile to Gu Chenyu. Gu Chenyu in turn didn't say anything as didn't bother to look at Lin Xuewei, he goes to sit down at an isolated corner and watches the occasion. Gu Zihan comes and sits next to him, "It's been a long time you came for an event like this brother"said Gu Chenyu.
Gu Chenyu looks at him "I'm still curious of how you met Lin Meiyin, tell me what did she give to you" said Gu Zihan.
"I don't get how that's your business " said Gu Chenyu.
"I should mind she was my fiancee after all, I don't want to assume that you've been eyeing my things " said Gu Zihan.
"I should ask you the same thing too, you've been eyeing my things and when you take them you like to destroy them beyond repair, you're guessing what I mean now, Lin Meiyin is not a toy and I don't want to see you around her" said Gu Chenyu.
"Well you should ask her that I'm the one she fell in love with after all and she still loves me she's just using you as a substitute, how does it feel to see what belongs to you in my arms" said Gu Zihan. Gu Chenyu clentches his fists and says nothing
If it was making someone angry just to play victim Gu Zihan was good at it but he won't fall prey for it again.
"You should hold her tight she looks so pretty maybe I might change my mind " said Gu Zihan with a wide grin he had dropped the bomb. Gu Chenyu's eyes were bloodshot he looks at Gu Zihan and then he stands up and leaves. Gu Zihan's smile turned into a frown and a disappointed look, if it was the old Gu Chenyu he would have already started beating him up by now. He clentches his fists and then his face turns back to its gentlemanly look.
Lin Meiyin on the other hand was pissed off by Lin Xuewei's talking telling her to do things this way and that way and telling her that it's a chef's signature and rule. Lin Meiyin was fed up "Sister do you know what the number one chef's rule is" said Lin Meiyin. Lin Xuewei looks at her with a confused expression.
"Talking and spilling your saliva on the food unconsciously you'll serve to people that's a bad habit, and a number one chef's rule. By the way my husband has a cleanliness obsession so I won't serve him this, who knows if your saliva is on this dish" said Lin Meiyin with a wide smile as she takes fresh vegetables and starts preparing something for her and Gu Chenyu to eat. Lin Xuewei's face turns into a frown Lin Meiyin had hit her hard and looks at Aunt Si for help. "Lin Meiyin don't be rude your sister was only trying to show you somethings"said Aunt Si.
Lin Meiyin sneers "I'm not crying for assistance I can do things on my own she was being bossy I'm sorry I can't tolerate that, by the way I know what my husband likes" said Lin Meiyin. Aunt Si's facial expression changes into a frown too.
Lin Meiyin decided to prepare her own dish she made some dumplings it was hard rolling them on her own and she also wanted to do some mischief. "Chenyu" she said, Gu Chenyu who was at a corner comes out he has been watching the little woman busying herself in a corner.
"Hmm" he said. "Please can you help me roll these dumplings" she said her eyes shining. Gu Chenyu looks down at her messy hands. Gu Zihan and Old man Gu observed Gu Chenyu and what he would say.
"Alright" he said going to wash his hands
"I personally wanted to prepare a dish for you, I know you have OCD so I thought you wouldn't want to eat that"said Lin Meiyin. Gu Chenyu looked at Lin Meiyin as she slices some meat. She looked so cute with that serious facial expression, Lin Meiyin looks at him. " Don't look at me that way roll them" she said lowering her head. Gu Chenyu's face turns ashen and he continues doing his work.
