(Aiden POV - 2025 - New York City)
I was following my regular morning routine, and on my way to school, I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings.
The Orphanage patron warned me for a reason, and this moment was about to prove her point.
Lost in Clash Royale on my phone, I stepped into the street, unaware that the light was still green for traffic.
Turns out..I should have probably listened to my mom about looking both ways.
Honk Honk
My head immediately snapped up to the sound so fast I was surprised I didn't get whiplash.
There was a truck coming at high speed towards me, and I couldn't seem to move.
I was afraid. Was this really how I was going to die? A truck of all things? I'm only 13!
I guess I wouldn't mind dying much. I had no family, no friends. Maybe-
CRASH
(Aiden POV - Land out of Time - ???)
I woke up to a void of pitch black. I couldn't see anything for miles upon miles.
I couldn't even feel anything either, couldn't talk. I didn't have a body. Yet somehow I could still think
This couldn't be the afterlife, right? Please, I hope not.
"Wow..you couldn't have picked a more unique way to go?" A bored voice said from behind me
I turned around fast. Could I even turn around? I don't have anything to move.
The thing in front of me couldn't be described by human standards, simple as that; if any human were to see it, they would probably have a seizure from an overload.
"I am R.O.B, or Random Omnipotent Being. You have been chosen for reincarnation. Yay." R.O.B.'s tone contrasted his words; he was probably one of the most unenthusiastic people I'd ever met.
Now, I wasn't religious, but I knew about reincarnation from webnovels and various anime.
"You will be reincarnated into a random pick of worlds, and have a random pick of a golden finger. Please wait."
A giant wheel that seemed as big as the skies and beyond appeared. On top of the wheel, it said in bold words "Worlds," and it started to spin.
I started seeing some worlds I recognized, like "Bleach," "Dragon Ball," "Demon Slayer," "Marvel - Earth 616," "DC - Earth Prime," "Invincible," and some I didn't like, "Berserk" and "Goblin Slayer."
It had a wide variety of worlds, some strange like "Highschool DXD", some that filled me with dread like "Boku no Pico"...don't ask me how I know about it, mainly from Reddit posts.
The wheel finally came to a stop on "Naruto," and I knew I was absolutely screwed. I finished the Anime, both the original and Shippuden, even the movies; it was my favorite anime.
But that did not mean I wanted to LIVE IN IT!!
I mean, come on! Juubi Madara, Kaguya, Isshiki! God forbid I get reborn into the Mist Village during the Bloody Mist era!
'How the fuck will I survive!?'
Suddenly, a second wheel appeared, probably bigger than the last, on the top, "Golden Finger," and it began to spin.
I prayed to anyone, even the R.O.B., to give me something meaningful.
The wheel came to a stop at…Toki No Me…'what the hell is Toki No Me!?'
"Have a nice second life," R.O.B. said dismissively.
I felt pain, such intense pain that it felt like my soul was getting ripped to shreds
And suddenly I was gone.
(3rd Person - Konoha Year 36 - Konoha Hospital)
"Waaah! Waaah!" A baby's cry sounded in the hospital room.
"And congratulations! It's a boy!" A nurse spoke out to a tired woman
The woman had midnight black hair and pale skin from giving birth. Once she saw the boy, she smiled softly, an angelic and melodic smile, her ruby red eyes shining in delight.
A man held her tightly as the baby was transferred into the mother's arms. The man had peachy blonde hair and bright green eyes; his eyes were so vibrant that they looked like they reflected his soul as he looked at the baby in pride.
The nurse spoke up with a smile, "What will you name him?"
The woman spoke softly, obviously tired, "Kai…Kai Tokitō"
