Chen Chen shrugged, making up an excuse. "It's homework, a biology analysis assignment, and I heard there's a new species that appeared in New York recently."
"Yes, I've heard as well." Dr. Connery's face lit up with a touch of fanaticism. "That creature is beautiful, and huge."
Parker quickly asked, "Professor, have you seen it?"
"It hasn't been confirmed yet, but it should be ferocious."
As he spoke, Dr. Connery seemed to fall into a daze, his expression vacant.
"Doctor? Are you alright?" Parker patted his shoulder.
Dr. Connery came back to his senses. "I'm fine, but I have other matters to attend to, I must leave. I'm also closing the lab! Please, both of you, come with me!"
