The evening at the X-Mansion was full of laughter.
Axel was busy telling Logan and Pietro about the time he accidentally melted a moon.
Logan didn't believe him, but he liked the kid's spirit.
Olivia sat nearby with Jean and Kitty. They were talking about normal things, like favorite colors and music.
For a moment, they felt like normal teenagers.
Suddenly, a tall man in a perfect black suit walked onto the lawn.
This was their family butler. He bowed deeply to Axel and Olivia.
"Young Master Axel, Young Lady Olivia,"
The butler said in a calm voice.
"The sun has set. It is time for us to return to the mansion."
Axel groaned and leaned back.
"Oh, come on! Just one more hour? I was just about to show Logan how to make a fire-sword!"
"Yeah,"
Kitty added, looking sad.
"They just got here! Can't they stay for dinner?"
The butler shook his head politely.
"I am afraid not. Master Stan has sent a message. He has a very specific task for both of you tonight."
Olivia stood up immediately. She knew that when their Gramp called, it was important.
"If it's a task from Grandpa, we have to go."
The X-Men looked worried.
They didn't want their new friends to leave so soon. But the butler smiled at them to make them feel better.
"Do not worry,"
The butler said.
"While the Young Master and Lady are away on their task, time in this world will move very slowly. When they return tomorrow morning for school, it will feel like they never left. Just a few seconds will be lost."
"Whoa,"
Scott muttered.
"That is some serious power. No wonder Mr.Stan Lee is at an Omega Level."
Axel stood up and stretched. He gave Jean a high-five.
"Hear that, Jean? I'll see you tomorrow morning, but for me, it might feel like a week! Try not to miss me too much."
Jean laughed.
"I'll try my best, Axel. Good luck with your task."
Olivia nodded to Ororo and Professor Xavier.
"Thank you for the tea and the peace. We will see you tomorrow."
With a bright flash of light, the limo took them back to their own mansion.
Their home was even bigger and more luxurious than the X-Mansion. It was a palace of gold, white marble, and magic.
There were waterfalls that flowed upward and gardens that glowed in the dark.
Inside, there was everything a person could ever want: private cinemas, giant game rooms, and kitchens full of the best food in the Multiverse.
But Axel and Olivia didn't go to the game room.
They went straight to a special room in the center of the mansion. This was the Multiverse Hub.
The room was filled with floating screens and glowing maps of different worlds.
In the center of the room, a hologram of a smiling old man appeared.
He was wearing sunglasses and a tan jacket.
"Hey there, kids! Excelsior!"
Stan Lee said through the hologram.
"I hope you had a good first day of school. But duty calls!"
"What's the mission, Grandpa?"
Axel asked, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
"I have a special job for you,"
Stan said.
"And if you succeed, I have a very nice reward waiting. I think you'll like it. It's a special item from the Star-Forge."
Axel and Olivia never failed their missions. They loved the rewards Stan gave them because he always knew exactly what they wanted without them even asking.
Sometimes it was a legendary weapon, and other times it was a rare cosmic candy.
"The task is simple but very important,"
Stan continued.
"I need you to travel to a world called Bleach. There is a woman named Kurosaki Masaki. In her timeline, she is supposed to face a terrible monster called Grand Fisher. I want you to save her. She deserves a long life with her family."
Axel jumped up and punched the air.
"Yes! Bleach! I love that world! The swords, the hollows, the cool outfits! This is going to be awesome!"
Olivia sighed, but she was hiding a small smile.
"So, we are going to save a mother. That is a good mission. When do we start?"
"Right now,"
Stan said with a wink.
"The portal is ready. Go be heroes, kids!"
A giant swirling gate of blue and gold energy opened in the middle of the Hub.
Axel grabbed his jacket and adjusted his collar.
Olivia closed her eyes for a second, feeling the Void ready to protect her.
"Let's go, Olivia!"
Axel shouted as he jumped into the portal.
"Kurosaki Masaki is waiting for us!"
Olivia followed him calmly into the light. The adventure in the world of Shinigami and Hollows was about to begin.
