Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Unknown Mystery

While the Hero's group discovered traces of the Elf Race, Tsukasa, the central figure being tracked without her knowledge, stepped into the depths of the Monster Mountain Range. In the Demon King's Castle, the headquarters of the Demon Race, the Demon Lord and her senior officials were talking about this topic: "Does the importance of this matter really require you to personally take action?" Although the Demon Lord didn't know what the woman beside her had just done, she could guess it was related to that Reincarnator based on the information obtained earlier.

The woman, pure white, beautiful beyond compare, and with her eyes closed, softly replied: "Yes."

The Demon King knew she couldn't focus on this because she needed to control multiple clones, but she still couldn't help mentioning: "In that case, wouldn't it be better to just bring her over to our side? Your clone is near her right now, isn't it? Or is there some concern that prevents you from doing so?"

"..." The woman, white from head to toe, seemed to be spacing out again.

"Alright." The Demon King could only smile, acting as if she hadn't mentioned

this matter.

But she still looked at the white woman with curiosity.

Could there really be another fellow among the Reincarnators as special as this white woman?

Thinking about how this fellow had climbed to her current height in just a few short years or a decade, if there were other Reincarnators like her, it would have to be said that they were a truly massive threat. If they were in an opposing camp, they would be the kind of existence one would want to strangle before they could grow. However, since this fellow was worrying about this matter, then such a thing would absolutely never happen in the first place.

Somewhere in a forest within the Monster Mountain Range.

The girl sitting in front of the campfire felt a slight chill down her spine.

"Strange, what was that mysterious feeling just now, as if I've stumbled into some kind of trouble?"

The skills and seemed to have activated for a moment.

But it also seemed like it was just her imagination.

"Speaking of which, why is it that I can't see many monsters in the depths of the Monster Mountain Range!"

Tsukasa looked at the small pigeon roasting on the wooden rack with some frustration.

It had been nearly a week since she entered the depths of the Monster Mountain Range.

She hadn't encountered the things she was worried about before, and there was no danger, but at the same time, she hadn't gained anything. So far, she hadn't encountered any high-level monsters; she only occasionally saw some plump pigeons. These pigeons knew nothing of how treacherous the world of beasts was, and even dared to fly over and coo coo coo in the face of a ferocious two-legged beast like her. So, she unceremoniously treated these pigeons as her food. It had to be said that pigeon meat was truly delicious, and the pigeons in this world were large enough.

(The reason the pigeons weren't afraid of Tsukasa was actually because she had secretly learned the 'Nature Affinity' skill.)

A certain monster hiding in the shadows, hearing Tsukasa's monologue, silently looked at its own forelimbs, then struck a strikingly human-like thinking pose, and finally, as if it had found the answer, shyly covered its eyes with several legs. The reason the monsters didn't appear was likely because it hadn't paid attention to hiding its aura; high-level monsters more or less possess skills like scouting instincts, and this clone of its was actually quite strong, so those monsters naturally didn't dare to approach after sensing its aura here.

The reason those pigeons were unaffected was partly because they were weak—even if it hadn't hidden its aura well, they couldn't detect its presence—and another reason was the skill Tsukasa had learned. If it hadn't guessed wrong, Tsukasa likely learned that skill for its automatic HP and MP recovery effects; that skill provided very good sustainability in a forest setting. However, this skill also had a hidden passive, or rather, an effect that the System did not describe in detail, which was affinity with animals.

Because the characteristics of that skill usually only appeared on Holy Spirits who loved nature, or on fantasy creatures like forest fairies. It was incredible that someone like Tsukasa could mysteriously learn such a skill through skill points. Just like how she had mysteriously obtained one of the Seven Virtues skills that should have been impossible to get, Tsukasa must have some kind of power that could interfere with the System, a power that even that one Evil God D could not ignore. If it wanted to escape the control of that evil god, perhaps this power was the key. However, the true nature of this power was still unknown; even the System couldn't provide an Appraisal, and the only one who knew the truth, that one Evil God D, would never give it the answer.

The spider monster withdrew its aura.

Based on the information it currently knew.

It seemed that power would only manifest once Tsukasa mastered it herself.

Just like when Tsukasa met the conditions to obtain 'Patience' before, that power ignored the System's rules and forcibly copied the skill.

At that time, a mysterious power had indeed appeared on Tsukasa.

But it was quite obvious that since that power was something even Evil God D couldn't take lightly, it meant it was at least on the same level as Evil God D. Even the System couldn't detect it, and with its current strength, even if that power appeared right in front of it, it would have no way of detecting its existence; it could only guess that the power had appeared based on the changes in Tsukasa.

Therefore, attempting to plunder this power was impossible; the only thing it could do for now was monitor Tsukasa's actions.

As for the Demon King's proposal.

To be honest, it had also considered such an idea.

But thinking carefully, given its and the Demon King's personalities, they would probably both choose to use force to compel the other to obey. And based on its memories, Tsukasa seemed to be a very proud and solitary person who never associated with others; even that one Evil God D hit a wall when she took the initiative to approach. If it used such a method to forcibly bring Tsukasa back, it would have to be prepared to face some very terrifying consequences. After all, no one knew the true nature of the power hidden within Tsukasa, so thinking of the worst-case scenario, it might end up with an enemy on the same level as Evil God D. Just thinking of that possibility scared the crap out of me! And even if it wanted to send an envoy to persuade her, it seemed the only classmate who had spoken to Tsukasa before their reincarnation was that one fellow, D!

That was why it hadn't taken the initiative to show itself until now.

Because it hadn't thought of a reason to appear before Tsukasa, nor how to talk her into joining its side. Moreover, it had another concern, and that is whether Evil God D

will really let it gain Tsukasa's help? However, it always felt like that fellow had already guessed this situation long ago, knowing it wouldn't be able to think of a way to win Tsukasa over, which was why she left it alone and even proactively revealed Tsukasa's information to it. Although that fellow seemed to have been dragged back to work, it felt like she was still watching its troubled state even now.
