After school, Gary and Olivia invited Dennis, Daisy, Jason, and Kimberly to grab a bite at a fast-food joint not far from school while they waited for Gary's ride. After ordering and sitting down, Gary opened the folder containing the copies of the files Blake had provided. He began reviewing the documents in detail, since he had only managed a quick glance during break.
"Hmm... BW Construction, huh? I know this company. They aren't as big as my dad's, but they've got quite a name in the city," Gary muttered, eyeing the company name.
"You hear a lot of shady stuff about them?" Dennis asked, working on his burger.
"I don't really know much. I'm not interested in my old man's business; my dream is to be a hunter," Gary answered.
"Honestly, I can afford to pay for my bike repairs myself, but it just feels like something is missing if those guys get away scot-free without any punishment," Jason grumbled.
