After returning to class, Dennis sat quietly in his seat. He glanced at Jason and Kimberly, who were sitting in front and had come back into the classroom with him; both looked relieved because Blake had promised to help using his connections and, of course, through legal channels rather than the back door. Additionally, Olivia intended to help them by using her father's law firm. Dennis felt a bit more at ease, but his heart was still thumping pretty fast from the thrill of what he'd just done secretly with Daisy number four in the archive room where there were no security cameras.
Suddenly, "growl," his stomach made a loud noise, and he clutched his belly. Because he had been so busy with Daisy in the archives, their student council meeting—which was supposed to be short so they could eat—had ended up consuming their entire break.
