Lorenzo glanced back at him and frowned. He opened his mouth to speak but Andreas beat him to it.
"You know," Andreas said casually as he reached for a pen on his table and began spinning it between his fingers, "you could always go after her. I'm not against you dating my employee."
"Why would I do that? That only benefits you," Lorenzo said with a smirk before his fingers found his cufflinks, straightening them. "And for the record, Ashley is more than enough for me."
"Oh, yeah?" Andreas retorted, leaning into his chair. "So you'd have no problem if I went after Xanthe?"
Lorenzo's expression remained unchanged. "Why should I?"
Grinning mischievously, Andreas shrugged his shoulders. "She's been giving me a lot of green lights lately. And honestly? It's getting harder to resist."
For a fleeting moment, a dark shadow glazed over Lorenzo's eyes, and then it was gone.
