"By the way, Yui, did your parents notice anything unusual last night?" Takeru asked calmly as they walked.
"Hmm? Oh, Mom and Dad didn't come home, so they didn't notice anything," Yui quickly replied.
"Is that so? That's good. Okay, we're here. Let's check which classes we're in." The walk wasn't long, and they soon reached the bulletin board.
After searching for a moment, Takeru found his name listed for Class 1-C. Scanning the class roster, he spotted several familiar names.
Hirasawa Yui, Akiyama Mio, Tainaka Ritsu, Doma Umaru, Ebina Nana, Tachibana Sylphinford...
Rikka was placed in Class 1-A, along with Nibutani Shinka and Kotobuki Tsumugi. Yuta was in Class 1-D...
Seeing the class assignments, Yui felt relieved to see Takeru and Umaru in the same class as her. It was just a shame her close friend, Manabe... was in Class 1-B.
"Yui, we're both in Class C. Let's go take a look." After checking the lists, Takeru spoke to Yui.
"Ah, yes!" Hearing Takeru's voice, the spaced-out Yui exclaimed loudly again.
Her shout once more drew the attention of everyone nearby.
"Um, er, sorry!" Flustered by all the stares, Yui apologized profusely.
Seeing this, Takeru could only shake his head helplessly.
Meanwhile, at the school entrance, Umaru made a dazzling entrance.
From the moment she stepped onto campus, her appearance and unique aura attracted as much attention as Takeru had.
"Good morning, Takeru-kun, and Yui-chan!" Umaru soon arrived at the bulletin board, noticed Takeru and Yui, and greeted them warmly and confidently.
"Morning, Umaru-kun." Seeing it was Umaru, Takeru nodded calmly.
"Umaru-kun..." Yui beside him, feeling the weight of many gazes, was extremely uncomfortable.
"Umaru-kun, you're in Class C, same as us. Want to head over together?" Takeru then asked her.
"Sure!" Hearing Takeru, Umaru nodded in understanding and followed Takeru and Yui as they left.
Upon arriving at Class 1-C, about half the class was already present. The entrance of Takeru, Umaru, and Yui caused a noticeable stir.
"Wow, that girl is so beautiful!"
"The one next to her is really cute too!" Several boys, noticing Umaru and Yui, whispered amongst themselves.
"So handsome! He's totally my type!"
"Really! But who are those with him? Is he already taken?"
Aside from comments about Umaru and Yui, there were plenty about Takeru. Unfazed, Takeru simply glanced around, chose a seat by the window, and sat down.
Seeing Takeru pick his seat, Umaru and Yui were a bit surprised, but after a moment's thought, they also chose seats near him.
Soon, time passed. After attending the entrance ceremony, they returned to the classroom. Their new homeroom teacher was a beautiful woman...
The first day of school wasn't about lessons. The main event was self-introductions, allowing classmates to get a basic understanding of each other and potentially make friends.
"Alright, now that introductions are over, we'll dismiss for today. Please make sure to carefully review the class schedule and other important notices at home!" The teacher announced with a smile.
"Hey, Takeru, want to go grab lunch together? I was thinking of getting everyone to meet up." After the teacher dismissed them, Umaru turned to Takeru.
"That's fine with me," Takeru agreed, understanding she meant the others from the first Reincarnation Space group.
Umaru wasn't the only one with this idea. Soon, Rikka, Yukino, and Hachiman appeared at the classroom door.
"Huh? Isn't that Yukino-senpai, the second-year? Why is she here?" Some freshmen exclaimed in surprise upon seeing Yukino.
Yukino was quite well-known at Sobu High. Even new students had heard of her.
"Looks like we don't need to contact them. Let's go." Seeing Yukino and the others, Takeru said with an amused smile to Umaru and Yui nearby.
Even after Takeru's group left, the students around continued whispering...
Soon, they arrived at Yuta's classroom. His class had run a bit late. When Takeru arrived, he could hear Yuta chatting with a boy behind him.
"Togashi-kun!" Seeing this, and under the gaze of Yukino and the others, Takeru had no choice but to call out loudly.
"Eh? Nara-kun?" Turning around, Yuta saw Takeru and the group of beautiful girls with him.
"Whoa, Togashi, you know them?" The boy behind Yuta, named Isshiki Makoto, looked at the otherwise unremarkable Yuta in surprise.
"Ah, yeah. Hold on a sec, let me see what's up," Yuta said, scratching his head sheepishly, before quickly heading to the door.
"Um, Nara-kun, everyone... is something wrong?" Yuta asked, confused.
"We're going to have lunch together and discuss some things," Yukino stated seriously, looking at Yuta.
"Ah, right! Got it. Let me just tell the others I won't be joining them," Yuta quickly replied.
