Synopsis
**Synopsis: Arion** In a world consumed by injustice, humans are forever crushed beneath the stronger races: Orcs, Elves, Angels, and Dwarves. These four races wage endless wars for territory, brutally oppressing one another and every weaker being in their path. Their ceaseless conflict finally angers the gods. Divine judgment descends—angels are sent to slaughter half the population of every race. Armies collapse from lack of manpower, economies shatter, and vital trade routes are severed by rivers of blood. In the scarred aftermath of this divine purge, a boy named Arion is born to two legendary knights—his mother and father both renowned warriors. Raised in the way of the blade from childhood, Arion hones exceptional combat skill through relentless daily training. Solitary and intensely focused, he develops a sharp, critical mind and truly masterful swordsmanship. But Arion carries a dangerous secret: his left eye glows golden and harbors an overwhelming surge of magical energy that can erupt beyond his control under emotional or physical stress. To suppress this volatile power, he always wears a special magical eyepatch over his left eye. His right eye remains pitch black. Standing at only 145 cm with longish black hair and pale skin, the 12-year-old already moves like a seasoned killer in the training yard. One ordinary day, while Arion is alone perfecting his forms—cleaving three training dummies in a single stroke—his cheerful younger sister Valdensa startles him from behind. After a brief moment of reflexively drawing his blade, he relaxes and scolds her lightly. Their short, sibling-like exchange reveals her concern for his obsessive training and delivers an unexpected summons: their father has ordered Arion to present himself immediately in the sacred Knight’s Chamber—a place rarely visited by anyone, let alone a boy his age. Filled with unease (knowing the hall is filled with arrogant, overbearing senior knights), Arion heads toward the chamber. As he opens the heavy door, something—or someone—lunges from the shadows… The story of Arion—a lone, eyepatch-wearing prodigy born in humanity’s darkest hour—begins here.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: war that only causes fire

"Arion. A young man born into a world full of injustice. A world where unfairness happens everywhere, and what is always certain is that the weak are constantly oppressed. In that era, humans are always beneath others because of the other races: Orcs, Elves, Angels, and Dwarves. These four races are constantly at war, fighting over territory and oppressing one another. Because of this, the gods became angry and sent down angels to reduce half the population of each existing race. As a result, they could no longer wage war due to a lack of manpower. The economy collapsed, and trade became difficult because several core routes were cut off by the massacre"

"And so, a child named Arion was born. He was born to a mother who was a knight and a father who was also a knight. Because of this, Arion possessed considerable combat skills from a young age. But since Arion was always alone and trained every day, he grew into a critical-minded boy with exceptional swordsmanship, constantly honed through relentless practice"

"One day, when Arion was 12 years old and training alone as usual, his sister approach him"

"Info: Arion is a boy with a height of 145 cm, having one golden eye and one black eye. His left eye is golden, and his right eye is black. The left eye contains an immense magical energy that can go out of control due to overwhelming magical pressure. That is why Arion always wears a magical-suppressing eyepatch over his left eye. In addition, he has somewhat long black hair and pale white skin"

"Clang — the sound of Arion's sword slicing through three training dummies at once. Afterward, Arion rested at the edge of the room and drank some water. Suddenly, his little sister tapped him from behind. Startled, Arion immediately gripped his sword again, ready to strike. But once he realized it was his sister, he sheathed the blade back into its scabbard"

Arion: Valdensa, don't startle me like that. You almost gave me a heart attack!

Valdensa: Hehe, sorry. It's just that you look way too serious when you train. Don't you ever feel tired?

Valdensa glanced at Arion's eyepatch.

Valdensa: Hehe, nice eyepatch for such a little guy like you.

Arion: I'm not little… Arion sighed And stop reminding me about the eyepatch all the time.

Arion looked around before speaking again, then sat back down.

Arion: I never feel tired when I train. Because it only makes me stronger. By the way, why did you come here?

Valdensa: I just wanted to see you training here. And I got a message from Father that…

Arion: That what?

"Valdensa sigh"

Valdensa: I don't know how to say it properly… but Father said you need to go see him in the Knight's Chamber.

Arion raised an eyebrow.

Arion: The Knight's Chamber? But why? Father rarely ever calls me to such a sacred place.

Valdensa: I have no idea. But be careful, Arion. As you know, there are a lot of arrogant knights there who always act however they please.

Arion: Ah, alright then. By the way, don't forget to feed my cat at home.

Valdensa: Okay~

She winked her right eye at Arion before running off.

Arion watched Valdensa leave until she passed through the gate. Then he stepped out of the training room and entered the knights' hall. As he opened the door, something suddenly ambushed him—

Wait for the continuation of Arion's story next time. And thank you for reading :)
