Chapter 1 - Chaper 1: Mysterious Call

It is already 6 a.m., and you remain asleep, you unproductive husband," Felicity remarked. Today commemorates five years since her marriage to Einstein Jacob, a union arranged by Einstein's grandfather, who had also adopted Felicity. Sadly, two years after their wedding, Einstein's grandfather passed away, leaving the couple to navigate life together. Felicity is a businesswoman managing her own advertising company, while Einstein is a university student who spends his free time working as a delivery rider for a restaurant.

Last night, after an exceptionally busy day, Einstein returned home and promptly retired to his room, where he quickly fell asleep. You might wonder about the arrangement of this married couple sleeping in separate rooms. Since their marriage, both Einstein and Felicity have never shared a bed. During the time that Einstein's grandfather was still living, they shared the same room, although they maintained separate sleeping arrangements. Einstein would sleep on the floor while Felicity occupied the bed, leading to a marriage devoid of any intimacy.

Initially, Einstein found himself dissatisfied with the situation, as each attempt to engage with Felicity was met with her vehement rejection, asserting that she held no feelings for him. After several years of persistent effort, he ultimately resigned himself to the reality. Following the passing of his grandfather, Felicity took the initiative to relocate Einstein's belongings to another room, resulting in their decision to sleep in separate quarters from that point onward. They subsequently relocated to a new residence, financed by Felicity, leading to her authority prevailing in all matters.

In his youth, Einstein acquired martial arts skills from his grandfather, a distinguished fighter noted for his prowess. Prior to his retirement, his grandfather had attained the prestigious rank of 9th level war god and imparted a wealth of combat knowledge to Einstein. As a keen learner, Einstein was able to keep pace with his grandfather's teachings. Nonetheless, Felicity and others remained unaware of Einstein's true talents, and his classmates often perceived him as a weak link.

Within the classroom, Einstein was accompanied by two friends, Nick and Simon, who were unique in that they never subjected him to bullying; this was largely due to their shared experience of coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Frequently, the trio opted to forgo lunch in the cafeteria due to financial constraints.

That morning at the school gate, Einstein encountered Norah, one of his classmates. Last week, he had been in urgent need of funds, and Norah had graciously lent him money, emphasizing that he would remit the repayment shortly. Regrettably, he had not yet managed to do so. "Approach me, you spineless wretch!" Norah called out. "You were supposed to reimburse me, but to this day, you have not done so.

Dear Norah, I have realized that I have not been in touch recently. I sincerely apologize for the delay, and I appreciate your patience. I will ensure that I repay you as soon as I return to work. Unfortunately, I have been unable to work over the past few weeks due to my exam preparations. I kindly request a few more days, and I assure you that I will repay you with interest. Additionally, I am giving you one more week to settle this matter. Should you be unable to do so by then, I recommend exploring other school options. After all, I believe your wife has her own business; perhaps you could ask her for assistance in this matter.

Norah turned and proceeded towards the classroom, with Einstein trailing behind her. Upon reaching the classroom door, they were met with astonished expressions from their peers. "Did the two of you spend the night together?"one student inquired.Norah retorted, "Stop perpetuating nonsense—who would dare spend even a minute, let alone an entire night, with this pathetic excuse for a person?"She continued, "Just look at how the two of you strolled in here with such grandeur, and yet you have the audacity to speak against us. I suggest you silence yourself, or I will ensure it is done for you," Norah declared, her face pale.

Conversely, Einstein was nearly obscuring his face in embarrassment. "We just met at the gate," Einstein stated. "Please refrain from talking; you haven't settled my payment. Einstein settled into his place, and shortly thereafter, the class concluded. As he prepared to depart, Norah called out to him, stating, "I have reconsidered my decision. I suggest you contact your parents to rectify this." "Are you truly an orphan?" "You!" proclaimed Einstein, his fists tightly clenched. Throughout his life, he had been under the guardianship of his grandfather and Felicity, never having had the opportunity to meet his parents.

Einstein paused, struck by sadness. He had reached his limit with such indignities. As he contemplated potential part-time employment, his phone began to ring. Glancing at the caller ID, he noticed it was an unfamiliar international number, raising his concern that it might be a scam.

However, when he thought of the online

recruitment of mercenaries in Britain which was

quite popular recently, offering 8000 Euros a day, he became interested again. Although he knew it could be a scam, if it was true, he would definitely go to Britain without hesitation.

"Good evening," Einstein greeted.

Unexpectedly, a rapid stream of British emerged from the other end of the line.

"Einstein, your mother!"

Einstein was taken aback. Initially, he felt as though he was the subject of a joke, but soon an overwhelming sense of sadness enveloped him. How could he possibly have a mother?

"Ein," the voice continued, "please don't hold this against me. I had no choice but to leave for many years, but I can finally return home now. I will make every effort to compensate for the time we lost. I will transfer five million dollars to you; please use it for now. If you need more, just give me a call."

The peculiar dialogue concluded with an unsettling ambiance. Immediately after the call, a notification appeared: "Your account ending in 000254 has been credited with $10,000,000, bringing your current balance to $10,000,000.50." Einstein was left in disbelief. His mother, whom he had never met, had actually gifted him ten million dollars? He scrutinized the text message, meticulously counting the zeros multiple times, before proceeding to the ATM to verify the information. He was overjoyed! It amounted to 10 million!

At this moment, Felicity, while driving past the school entrance, observed Einstein parked nearby and, with evident disdain after spotting him, remarked, "Why are you not in class and instead here foolishly laughing?"Einstein responded, "I'm no longer attending class." He remained in place, silently watching Felicity. A sense of unease washed over Felicity as she detected a newfound confidence in Einstein's gaze. Wasn't he still the same individual she deemed incompetent? How could he possibly challenge her? Frustrated, she retorted, "How dare you respond to me? If you have the audacity, I expect you to refrain from coming to my home today!"

Felicity was visibly upset. "How could you speak to me that way? If you feel so strongly, I suggest you refrain from visiting my home today!"

Einstein, feeling weary of Yvette's cold demeanor, responded with a tone of disdain, "I have no intention of returning. I will find alternative accommodations."

"Is this some sort of joke?" he mused internally. "With my new wealth of ten million dollars, I no longer have to endure Felicity's discontented expressions."

Addressing her with a sharp edge, he stated, "You! Excellent! I would be curious to see how courageous you truly are. From this moment forward, if you dare to set foot in my house again, I will ensure you regret it."

Einstein disregarded Felicity and chose to leave without acknowledging her presence. In response, Felicity expressed her frustration by stamping her feet, but ultimately felt powerless to effect any change. She subsequently turned away, entered her vehicle, and drove off. After leaving the school premises, Einstein hailed a taxi to the real-estate agency located in the city center. With his newfound financial resources, Chuck's primary objective was to acquire his own residence. Upon entering the agency, he found that the staff, preoccupied with their tasks, paid little heed to his unremarkable attire. Individuals of such appearance were typically perceived as either seeking part-time employment, soliciting assistance, or simply enjoying the comfort of air conditioning without genuine intent to purchase.

When the store manager exited the office, the unmotivated employees quickly approached him, inquiring, "Sir, how may we assist you?"To which he replied,"I am looking to purchase a house." "A house?"Hanna's eyes widened as she scrutinized Einstein intently for an extended period. Having been a real-estate agent for many years, she was not accustomed to misjudging clients. While it was exceedingly rare to encounter a customer under the age of twenty who sought to buy a house, the few who did were typically clad in designer suits and drove luxury sports vehicles.

"Sir, I would like to inform you that the most affordable property available within the city is approximately 12,000 per square meter. Are you certain you wish to proceed with this purchase?"Hanna, feeling a lack of patience for this type of inquiry, adjusted her tone.
