Chapter 110 - A Dance of Blood and Fire

Author's POV

The massive, rusted iron doors of the warehouse did not just open. They burst inward with a deafening, metallic screech that cut straight through the drumming sound of the rain outside.

Keifer stepped through the threshold. He didn't take cover. He didn't look around for traps. His eyes were wide, bloodshot, and burning with a terrifying, unhinged light. His expensive jacket was soaked with rain, clinging to his broad shoulders, and his fingers were wrapped so tightly around his heavy tactical pistol that his knuckles looked like white marble.

The air around him seemed to drop in temperature, carrying the lethal aura of a man who had already decided to burn the world to the ground. In the center of the room, standing under the dim, flickering halogen light, Clyden and Robert were waiting in the shadows of a far corner.

"Welcome, brother," Clyden sneered, stepping forward into the light. A disgusting, triumphant grin broke across his face as he gestured around the empty space. "You're exactly on time. I knew you wouldn't keep us waiting."

Robert let out a low, gravelly chuckle that made the concrete walls echo with malice. "You are actually a bit late, son-in-law. Your beautiful wife has been waiting very anxiously for you to arrive."

Keifer did not blink. He did not look at Clyden. He did not look at Robert. His voice came out as a freezing, robotic whisper that cut through the cavernous room like a guillotine."Where is Jay?"

The two men exchanged a sick, amused glance. Then, with a slow, dramatic flourish, Clyden stepped aside and pointed his bloody hand toward the darkest, dampest corner of the warehouse floor.

"Jay!" Keifer shouted, the raw agony in his voice tearing through the silence.

There she was.She was slumped against the base of a concrete pillar, her small frame trembling violently. Her hands were pressed tightly against her stomach, clutching her torn shirt as dark, thick crimson blood flowed steadily through her pale fingers, pooling onto the filthy concrete. Her face was completely white, her eyes half-closed as she fought to stay conscious.

"Kei... fer..." she breathed out, her voice barely a whisper.

Keifer didn't care about the rules. He didn't care about the threat. He dropped his shoulder and launched himself forward, desperate to run to her, to press his hands over her wound, to lift her into his arms and carry her away from this hellhole.

But he didn't even make it three steps. With a sudden, synchronized roar, the dark shadows along the perimeter of the warehouse came alive.

From behind metal crates, broken machinery, and stacked shipping pallets, men poured out into the open light. More than 50 heavily armed mercenaries, hired thugs, and street fighters formed a thick, solid wall of meat and steel directly between Keifer and his bleeding wife.

Keifer stopped.

A low, guttural growl vibrated deep inside his chest, sounding less like a human and more like a starving beast cornered in a cage. The sheer number of enemies meant absolutely nothing to him. The only thing he saw was the red blood staining Jay's fingers.

"Move," Keifer hissed, his teeth bared. "Or die."They didn't move. They lunged. And the slaughter began.

Keifer didn't just fight; he disassembled the human bodies in front of him with a calculated, mathematical brutality. He was a whirlwind of violent kinetic force, driven by pure adrenaline and the primal need to protect his mate.

The lead mercenary swung a heavy iron pipe at Keifer's head. Keifer didn't duck. He ducked under the arc, stepped into the man's blind spot, and slammed the heavy steel butt of his pistol directly into the center of the man's face. The nose bone shattered instantly, driving upward into the nasal cavity. The man collapsed like a sack of bricks, unconscious before he even hit the floor.

A second thug grabbed Keifer's right shoulder from behind. Without looking, Keifer gripped the man's wrist, twisted his own body with immense torque, and forced the arm against his own shoulder, snapping the man's elbow cleanly in the wrong direction with a sickening CRACK.

Before the screaming man could fall, Keifer drove his open palm straight into the throat of a third attacker who was rushing him with a knife. The windpipe collapsed instantly with a dull pop, and the man dropped to his knees, gasping for air that would never come.

A massive, burly brawler tried to tackle Keifer around the waist. Keifer dropped his center of gravity, drove a brutal front kick directly into the man's kneecap, backward-bending the joint. The giant screamed as his leg gave out completely, falling forward directly into the path of Keifer's rising knee, which shattered his jaw.

An attacker lunged with a rusted machete. Keifer sidestepped the vertical slash by millimeters, grabbed the man's forearm, and slammed it down onto his own raised knee, forcing the bones to break and the weapon to slip from his hand. Keifer caught the machete mid-air, spun on his heel, and sliced it deeply across the thighs of two men rushing from his flank.

Two men tried to grab his arms simultaneously. Keifer used their own momentum against them. He gripped the back of their heads with his powerful hands and violently drove their skulls together in the center. The impact sounded like two bowling balls colliding, and both men fell instantly into a heap of dead weight.

A fighter stepped in with a boxing stance, throwing a fast left hook. Keifer blocked the punch with his forearm, stepped inside the guard, and brought his heavy elbow down onto the man's collarbone. The bone snapped with a loud crunch, paralyzing the attacker's left side completely.

Using the absolute tip of his tactical knife, Keifer delivered a precise, lightning-fast strike directly between the ribs of an oncoming mercenary, piercing the chest wall. The man stiffened, his eyes rolling back as his heart failed under the massive internal pressure.

A man tried to jump onto Keifer's back to choke him out. Keifer leaned forward, grabbed the man's leather jacket over his shoulders, and flipped him violently over his head, driving the man's spine directly onto a sharp corner of a nearby iron crate. A loud, structural snap echoed through the air.

Keifer gripped an attacker by the throat and the belt, lifted his entire body off the ground with pure, terrifying physical strength, and threw him violently against a brick support pillar ten feet away. The man's head hit the brickwork first, leaving a dark red smear as he slid down onto the floor.

A fallen mercenary tried to reach for a dropped firearm near Keifer's boot. Without a hint of hesitation, Keifer brought his heavy combat boot down onto the man's outstretched hand, crushing every single bone in his fingers into a useless mush of skin and bone fragments.

A thug rushed him with a wooden bat. Keifer caught the swing with his bare left hand, ignored the splintering pain in his palm, ripped the bat away, and swung it with massive force into the side of the man's neck, dropping him instantly into the dark coldness of unconsciousness.

Just as the eleventh man fell, a loud, mechanical grinding noise echoed from the very top of the warehouse roof. Robert had reached the control panel for the industrial facility.

With a sick grin, he threw a massive iron lever.High above, the massive emergency water valves—used to flush out chemical fires in the old industrial plant—burst wide open.

A massive, torrential downpour of cold, pressurized water began to rain down from the ceiling rafters, flooding the entire center of the warehouse floor in a thick, blinding sheet of water. The water crashed down onto Keifer, soaking him to the bone within seconds, turning the concrete floor into a slippery, dangerous marsh of blood and water.

But the water did not slow him down. If anything, it made him look even more terrifying.Keifer fought in the very center of the cascading water, his movements creating massive sprays of red-tinted mist every time he struck an enemy.

The water washed the sweat and the enemy's blood from his face, revealing the dead, unblinking eyes of a predator. He slithered through the remaining men like a ghost in the rain, his fists and boots finding flesh with unerring accuracy. He was a force of nature.

Within minutes, the pile of bodies around him grew massively. Exactly 40 men were now down on the ground, groaning, bleeding, or completely motionless in the rising puddle of pink water. But the numbers were still heavy.

Near 35 men were still left, circling him cautiously like a pack of wolves terrified of a wounded lion.Keifer wiped the water from his eyes, his breathing heavy, his chest heaving.

He spotted a mercenary lunging at him from the left. He reared his right arm back, pulling his fist into a perfect, lethal position to end the man's life with a single punch to the temple.

BANG!

A sharp, deafening gunshot cut through the sound of the falling water.Keifer's left arm violently jerked backward. A high-caliber bullet from yden's hidden pistol had torn straight through his bicep, shattering the muscle and chipping the bone.

A loud gasp of pain escaped Keifer's lips as his left hand fell completely limp against his side, useless and dripping dark red blood into the water.

"Haha! Look at the great Keifer now!" Clyden screamed from the dry platform, his eyes wide and manic as he raised the gun again.

BANG!

Cayden fired a second bullet, aiming directly for the center of Keifer's chest.Despite the blinding agony in his arm, Keifer's elite instincts kicked in. He violently twisted his torso to the right, dodging the lethal path of the bullet by an inch.

But the projectile didn't miss completely. It grazed heavily across the side of his stomach, tearing a deep, horizontal gash through his flesh.Keifer stumbled backward, his boots sliding against the wet concrete.

The double impact of the bullet wound and the deep graze made his vision flicker. He stopped, his knees trembling slightly as the sheer volume of physical pain tried to drag his consciousness down into the dark.

Seeing their target finally falter, the remaining 35 mercenaries took immediate advantage of the situation. They let out a unified shout and rushed forward from all sides, swarming over him like ants. Fists, boots, and iron pipes rained down on Keifer's back, shoulders, and chest.

Because of the blinding pain in his stomach and his shattered left arm, he couldn't fight back effectively. He was forced to drop his chin, using his one good arm to protect his head as he was beaten down to one knee in the pouring water.

In the dark corner of the warehouse, Jay was watching everything. The sight of Keifer—her protector, her husband, the man who had torn through an army just to reach her—being beaten down to his knees broke something inside her mind.

The lingering childhood terror, the traumatic memories of Robert, the paralyzing fear that had kept her small and vulnerable—it all burned away in a single, volatile instant of pure rage. No, she thought. Not him. I won't let them take him from me.

Her body was screaming in agony from the deep knife wound Clyden had given her, but she refused to listen to it. With a trembling, bloody right hand, Jay brought her palm up and violently slapped her own face.

SMACK!

The sharp pain cleared the fog from her mind. She glared into the darkness, her eyes burning with an intense, terrifying light.

"Jay, be strong," she whispered fiercely to herself, her teeth grinding together so hard they cracked. "Fight for your Keifer. Move!"

She reached out and grabbed a long, discarded strip of heavy industrial canvas cloth from the floor beside her. Wrapping it tightly around her waist, she pulled it with all her remaining strength, tying a brutal, tight knot directly over her stomach wound to compress the injury and stop the steady flow of blood.

She gasped as the pressure caused a wave of white-hot pain, but she pushed it down into the depths of her soul.Using the concrete pillar for support, Jay forced her legs to straighten.

She stood up.Robert, who was watching the mercenaries beat Keifer from the safety of the raised platform, happened to glance over into the corner. His eyes widened in absolute shock as he saw her standing tall, her face covered in blood but her posture completely straight.

"You are still alive, bitch?" Robert roared, his voice cracking with disbelief. He pointed a finger at her. "You two! Go finish her off right now!"

Two massive mercenaries detached themselves from the crowd around Keifer and ran toward her, their knives drawn.Jay didn't panic. She looked down at the concrete floor.

Right there, glinting in the dim light, was the tactical knife Clyden had dropped after stabbing her. She bent down, grabbed the handle with a reverse grip, and stood perfectly still as the two men closed the distance.

The first man lunged, aiming a wild slash at her chest. Jay sidestepped with perfect, lethal grace, slipped inside his reach, and drove the knife straight into the side of his neck. She twisted the blade and ripped it out in a single motion. Blood sprayed across her face as the man choked and collapsed.

The second attacker froze for a split second in absolute shock, but Jay didn't give him a chance to recover. She stepped forward, using the momentum of the first man's fall, and drove the knife upward, burying the blade completely into the center of the second man's heart.

The remaining mercenaries who witnessed the sequence let out a collective, terrified gasp, temporarily stopping their assault on Keifer as they stared at the bloody woman who had just executed two trained killers in less than three seconds.

Jay didn't stop.

Driven by a primal instinct to reach her husband, she launched herself into the remaining crowd of thugs. Her fighting style was purely brutal, efficient, and dripping with raw desperation.Despite her severe stomach injury, she moved like a demon. She used the knife to slash throats, hamstring tendons, and pierce kidneys.

Every time a man tried to strike her, she ignored the pain, took the hit, and delivered a lethal counter-strike. She was covered in her own blood and the blood of her enemies, her long hair flying wildly in the falling water.

She jammed the blade deep into the eye socket of a thug, twisting it until he went limp.

When a man tried to grab her waist, she sliced both of his wrists to the bone, leaving him screaming as he bled out on the wet floor.

She used the heavy downpour of water to slide low across the slick concrete, hamstrings of three men cut open in a single, beautiful sweep.

Down on his knee, Keifer managed to lift his head through the spray of water. He watched his wife tear through the mercenaries with a look of pure, unadulterated admiration shining through his pain.

A dark, bloody smirk broke across his lips."That's my girl," Keifer muttered, his voice thick with pride. "That's my wounded lioness."

Jay sliced through the last man standing between them and dropped to her knees beside him. She caught him with her good arm, helping him pull his massive frame back up to his feet. Her eyes met his, and despite the blood, the water, and the death surrounding them, a spark of pure love and defiance flashed between them.

"Ready, hubby?" Jay asked, her breathing ragged, her hand gripping his tightly.Keifer's smirk widened into a lethal, terrifying grin.

"Always, wifey."

Together, side-by-side, the husband and wife unleashed absolute hell on the remaining fifteen men. They moved in perfect synchronization.

Keifer used his massive physical power and his one good arm to break bones and shatter jaws, while Jay followed up immediately behind him, using her knife to ensure the enemies stayed down permanently.

The remaining mercenaries didn't stand a single chance. Within a matter of terrifying minutes, the final thug was thrown to the ground, leaving the center of the warehouse completely silent except for the sound of the falling water.

Up on the metal platform, Clyden and Robert's faces completely dropped. The triumphant grins were gone, replaced by a cold, paralyzing terror. They looked at the field of 75 dead or dying men, and then they looked at Keifer and Jay, who were standing in the center of the room, covered in blood, looking like two demons who had climbed out of the depths of hell.

"This... this is impossible," Clyden stammered, his gun shaking in his hand as he backed away toward the rear exit door.

"They're monsters!""Let's get out of here!" Robert hissed, turning around to run.But before they could even take two steps toward the back stairs, the massive rear wooden doors of the warehouse were violently blown off their hinges with a loud, explosive blast.

Through the smoke and debris, the elite strike team burst into the room.Section E, led by Rafael, Angelo, Aries, and Percy, poured into the space like an avalanche. Their faces were completely dark with fury. The moment they saw the state of the warehouse, the blood on the floor, and the injuries on Keifer and Jay, their tactical restraint completely shattered.

"Don't move a single inch!" Rafael roared, his rifle aimed directly at Clyden's head.In a flash of movement, the members of Section E swarmed up the metal stairs, completely cutting off the exit routes. Within seconds, Clyden and Robert were violently thrown to the concrete floor of the platform, their weapons ripped from their hands, their arms pinned behind their backs in a tight, unyielding hold.

While Section E secured the perimeters, the brothers rushed down into the center of the warehouse floor, splashing through the water to reach the injured couple.Angelo and Rafael slid to their knees beside Keifer, while Percy and Aries immediately moved to support Jay, who was beginning to sway on her feet as the adrenaline began to fade from her body.

"Jesus Christ, Keifer," Angelo muttered, his face pale as he saw the bullet hole in his brother's arm and the blood soaking his shirt. "You're bleeding out. We need to get you both to the hospital right now. The medical vans are outside."

Percy reached for Jay's arm, his voice trembling slightly with concern. "Jay, let me look at that stomach wound. We have to go. Now."

Jay violently pulled her arm back from Percy's grip. She wiped a stream of rain and blood from her eyes, her gaze fixing tightly onto the platform where Clyden and Robert were being held down by Section E. Her face was a mask of cold stone, devoid of any mercy.

"Not yet," Jay said, her voice carrying a chilling, absolute authority that made everyone freeze. "First... finish them."

Angelo looked up at Keifer, wanting to argue, wanting to put his brother's health first. But Keifer just leaned his weight against Angelo's shoulder, his red eyes fixed on the prisoners above.

Keifer gave a single, firm nod. "Listen to my wife. Finish them."

The Section E didn't ask any more questions. The orders were absolute. They dragged Clyden and Robert down from the metal platform, throwing them roughly onto the wet concrete floor directly in front of Keifer and Jay.The circle of death closed in around them.

One by one, the brothers and the Section E stepped forward to deliver a brutal, systematic punishment for what they had done to Jay.

Angelo stepped forward first. His face was twisted in a rare, terrifying rage. He looked down at Robert, walked up, and delivered a massive, bone-shattering punch directly into the center of Robert's face, breaking his nose and sending three teeth flying across the concrete floor.

"That's for touching my sister!" Angelo roared.

Aries moved next. He didn't use a weapon. He delivered a brutal, lightning-fast spinning back-kick straight into Clyden's ribs. A loud, wet cracking sound filled the air as three of Robert's ribs shattered under the force, causing the old man to collapse into the puddle of water, coughing up thick blood.

Percy stepped up, his expression cold and analytical. He took a heavy tactical baton from his belt, extended it with a sharp click, and slammed it violently into Clyden's right shoulder blade, completely dislocating the joint with a single, precise strike. Clyden screamed in agony, his body twisting in the water.

Rafael didn't say a word. He walked up to Robert, grabbed him by his gray hair, lifted his head back, and slammed his heavy combat boot directly into the man's jaw, fracturing the bone instantly and leaving him barely conscious.

Then came the Section E, their anger boiling over.

Cin stepped into the light, his knuckles wrapped in thick carbon-fiber protectors. He delivered a series of brutal, rapid-fire body blows to Clyden's stomach, targeting the exact same area where Cayden had stabbed Jay, forcing the traitor to vomit blood into the puddle.

Felix followed immediately behind him. He grabbed a heavy iron chain from a nearby crate and whipped it violently across Robert's back, tearing through his dark coat and leaving deep, bleeding gashes across his flesh.

Eman and Max stepped up together. Max held Clyden's arms pinned to the floor while Eman delivered two devastating stomps directly onto Clyden's ankles, completely crushing the joints and ensuring he would never run again.

Blaster came in last . He picked up a piece of a broken wooden table from the floor and smashed it directly over Robert's head, the wood exploding into a thousand splinters as Robert slumped forward into the water, barely breathing. But the true horror was yet to come.

Keifer pushed himself away from Angelo's support. He walked slowly, unsteadily, but with a terrifying purpose toward a heavy steel tool chest sitting against the nearby wall.

He reached inside his pocket, pulled out his good right hand, and wrapped his fingers around the handle of a massive, heavy industrial metal sledgehammer.

The weight of the iron hammer dragged against the concrete floor, making a sharp, screeching sound as Keifer walked back toward the center of the room. He stopped directly over Robert's broken body.

"You survived the past," Keifer whispered, his voice sounding like dry leaves scraping over a grave. "But you won't survive me."

He raised the heavy metal hammer high above his head with his single good arm, his muscles straining against the weight.

"This is for touching my wife," Keifer stated coldly.

CRUNCH!

He brought the hammer down with immense force directly onto Robert's right arm, completely flattening the bones into a shapeless mass of flesh and gray iron.

Robert let out a shrill, animalistic scream of pure agony.

Keifer raised the hammer again, his expression completely blank. "This is for kicking her when she was a child.

"CRUNCH!CRUNCH!

He delivered two consecutive, massive blows directly onto Robert's left and right knees. The kneecaps exploded under the impact, the legs bending completely sideways in a horrifying, unnatural angle.

Robert's screams began to fade into a wet, bubbling wheeze.Keifer didn't stop.

He stepped between the old man's shattered legs, his eyes narrowing into slits of pure, unadulterated disgust. "This is for ever having a single lustful thought about her."

CRUNCH!

He brought the heavy iron hammer down with maximum force directly into Robert's groin. The impact was devastating, crushing everything beneath the metal head.

Robert's body convulsed violently one last time, his eyes rolling back into his head as his nervous system completely overloaded from the sheer volume of physical pain.

Finally, Keifer lifted the hammer one last time, positioning it directly over Robert's bloody face. "And this is for existing."

SPLAT!

The heavy hammer came down one final time, completely crushing Robert's skull against the concrete floor. The old monster of Jay's childhood was dead, his body completely still in the pool of red water.

The brothers and the Section E stood perfectly frozen, a collective shock washing over them as they witnessed the absolute, animalistic brutality of Keifer's execution.

Even the Section E had never seen their president lose his humanity to that extent. But in the center of the room, Jay was standing there. A slow, chilling smile spread across her pale, blood-stained face.

She looked down at the crushed remains of the man who had ruined her life, and her voice came out low and steady.

"You shouldn't have killed him so fast, hubby," Jay whispered, her smile widening slightly into a dark, unstable expression. "We should have kept him alive for much longer. He deserved to feel every single second of it."

Hearing those words come fromJay who was actively bleeding to death from a stomach wound sent a cold shiver down the spines of every single one in the room. They looked at her with a new, profound sense of awe and fear.

Jay slowly turned her dead eyes toward Clyden, who was shaking so hard his teeth were chattering, his eyes wide as he looked at the corpse of his partner.

"Section E," Jay commanded, her voice cutting through the space like iron. "Tie him to that chair."Denzel and Josh immediately jumped to obey her, dragging Clyden's broken body over and binding him tightly to the heavy wooden chair under the flickering bulb.

Jay turned her head slightly toward Max. "Max. Spread the gasoline around him. Do it now."

Max swallowed hard, his hands trembling slightly as he pulled a heavy red canister of industrial gasoline from the corner of the warehouse. He walked in a circle around Clyden, pouring the thick, pungent fuel over his head, his clothes, and the floorboards underneath the chair. The strong, chemical smell instantly filled the damp air.

"No! Please! Jay! I'm your cousin! Please don't do this! Keifer, stop her!" Clyden screamed, his voice cracking into a pathetic, terrified wail as the fuel soaked his skin.

Jay walked slowly toward him, her boots clicking in the shallow water. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small, silver metal lighter. She flipped the cap open with a sharp click, a small, bright orange flame dancing to life in the dark warehouse.

She looked down at Clyden, her expression completely empty of any human emotion. "This is your ultimate punishment for touching what is mine."

She opened her fingers. The silver lighter dropped through the air in slow motion, landing directly on Clyden's fuel-soaked lap.

FWOOSH!

A massive, roaring wall of bright orange and blue fire instantly exploded into the air, consuming the chair and Clyden's body in a violent furnace. The bright light illuminated the entire warehouse, casting long, dancing shadows against the walls.

Cayden began to scream—a loud, horrific, agonizing shriek of pure terror and pain as the flames tore through his flesh.

The sound was deafening, filling the space with the horrific reality of his execution.Section E and the brothers stepped back, their faces completely pale, their eyes wide with absolute shock as they watched the burning inferno.

Cin swallowed hard, his voice barely a whisper as he leaned toward the man next to him. "They... they are truly dangerous. Both of them."

Eman nodded slowly, his forehead covered in sweat from the heat of the fire.

"Remind me... never to mess with either of them. They are absolute demons when they are crossed",Eren addded.

But the victory was short-lived.The extreme physical effort, the blood loss from her stabbed stomach, and the sudden release of her adrenaline took their toll.

The bright orange flames reflected in Jay's eyes suddenly began to fade into a dark blur. Her knees buckled beneath her, and her body collapsed forward like a broken doll.

"Jay!" Keifer shouted, his voice cracking with sudden panic.Using the last ounce of his remaining strength, he lunged forward with his good arm, catching her body before she could hit the wet concrete floor.

He pulled her against his chest, his right hand immediately pressing hard against her bleeding stomach. "Jay! Open your eyes! Stay with me! Look at me!"

Jay didn't answer.

Her eyes remained tightly shut, her face completely pale as she lost consciousness in his arms.

"Medic! We need a medic right now!" Keifer screamed into the room, his voice raw, desperate, and breaking.

But as the Section E rushed forward to help them, the room began to spin violently for Keifer as well. The bullet wound in his arm and the deep gash across his stomach had drained too much of his own life force.

His vision went completely black, his grip on Jay tightening one last time before his body collapsed sideways onto the cold, wet concrete beside his wife, both of them falling into a deep, silent unconsciousness as the flames of their retribution continued to roar behind them.
