Chapter 5 - Guardian Conversion

The white space trembled.

Gojo stood still, watching the shadow kneel behind him. The dungeon was gone. Only silence remained.

Blue text floated in front of him.

Shadow Registered

Guardian-Class Unit Acquired

Gojo tilted his head slightly.

"So you're mine now."

The shadow didn't speak. It simply bowed deeper.

Gojo looked around the endless Archive space. Doors stretched into infinity. Every one of them carried pressure. Every one hid a new lesson.

"Alright," he said quietly. "Show me something harder."

The world cracked.

Stone walls rose again. This dungeon felt different. Denser cursed energy. Sharper air. Heavy gravity.

Gojo's eyes narrowed.

"Good."

A voice echoed.

From the darkness, multiple guardians emerged. Larger than the first. Faster. Their cursed energy twisted like broken glass.

Gojo moved instantly.

Blue pulled one guardian off balance. He struck the core with perfect precision.

Another attacked from above. Gojo spun midair and kicked it straight into a wall, finishing it with a controlled Red blast.

Numbers flashed.

Efficiency: 91%

Control: Improving

Gojo frowned.

"Still not perfect, huh?"

Three guardians attacked together. Their coordination surprised him. They learned his patterns.

Gojo smiled slowly.

"So you adapt too."

He stepped forward instead of retreating.

Close-range combat.

No Infinity.

No safety.

One guardian grabbed his arm. Another aimed for his head. The third charged its core.

Gojo twisted, broke the hold, and drove cursed energy straight through all three cores in one movement.

Silence.

The dungeon collapsed.

Blue text appeared again.

Multiple Conversions Available

Three shadows formed behind him.

Now four soldiers knelt in the white void.

Gojo turned back toward them.

"This is getting interesting."

The Archive spoke again.

Shadow Limit Increasing

Command Authority Stable

Gojo crossed his arms.

"So I build an army inside the Prison Realm… while the real world waits."

No answer.

But another line appeared.

Observation Active

Gojo's smile disappeared.

"Observation… from who?"

For the first time, the white space glitched.

Just one second.

In that flicker, Gojo felt something watching him. Something older than curses. Something patient.

He looked up.

"Whoever you are… you picked the wrong sorcerer."

His shadows stood behind him like a silent army.

Gojo stepped toward the next door.

Confidence returned to his eyes.

Not arrogance.

Calculation.

Because this time, the strongest wasn't just fighting.

He was preparing.
