Chapter 6 - Archive Anomaly

The white void did not stabilize.

It flickered.

Once.

Twice.

Then the space tore open without warning.

Gojo stopped walking.

This wasn't a controlled transformation.

This wasn't a scheduled trial.

Blue text tried to form—

But the letters distorted.

Tr—ial In—iti—

Static swallowed the message.

Gojo's eyes narrowed.

"So you can glitch."

The floor beneath him fractured, revealing something new.

Not a dungeon.

Not a battlefield.

A massive structure suspended in darkness.

An endless archive of floating panels.

Each panel displayed a different scene.

Battles.

Sorcerers.

Deaths.

Gojo stepped closer to one.

He saw himself.

Another version.

Different fight.

Different outcome.

Loss.

He moved to another panel.

Another strongest sorcerer.

Unknown.

Falling.

Another.

Another.

Countless "strongest" figures.

All recorded.

All defeated.

Blue text reappeared, but unstable.

Archive Function: Record Failure

Primary Purpose: Correction of the Strongest

Gojo's smile faded slightly.

"So I'm not special."

A deeper distortion echoed through the space.

A new message appeared.

Not blue.

White.

Clear.

You are optimal.

Gojo looked up.

That line did not feel automated.

It felt intentional.

The floating panels began to collapse inward.

Forming a spiral.

At the center of that spiral—

A silhouette appeared.

Not fully visible.

No clear shape.

Just presence.

Heavy.

Ancient.

Watching.

Gojo felt it immediately.

Not cursed energy.

Something else.

Information density.

As if the air itself contained infinite records.

The white text appeared again.

Adaptation Speed: Exceeding Prediction

Gojo smirked slightly.

"Prediction? So you didn't expect this."

The silhouette did not move.

But the pressure increased.

The archive panels flashed faster.

Showing moments Gojo hadn't lived yet.

Future possibilities.

Paths where he accepted perfection.

Paths where he failed again.

Paths where he became something else entirely.

Gojo reached toward one panel—

It shattered before he touched it.

The white message appeared once more.

Observation Complete.

The silhouette began to fade.

The spiral collapsed violently.

The void snapped back to normal white space.

Blue text reappeared, stable again.

System Stabilized

Anomaly Resolved

Gojo stood alone.

His shadows behind him.

He looked upward calmly.

"That wasn't a glitch."

Silence.

Then one final line appeared.

Creator Monitoring Confirmed

Gojo adjusted his blindfold slightly.

"Good," he said quietly.

"I was getting bored."

But inside, he understood now.

The Archive was not automatic.

It had intent.

It had expectation.

And it had chosen him.

The next door ahead opened on its own.

No trial announcement.

No warning.

Only darkness beyond it.

Gojo stepped forward without hesitation.

Because if someone was watching—

He would make sure they saw everything.
