The story is in first person. So whenever you see a "....." or '....' without a name in front of it, it will be the MC speaking. Everytime another person speaks, their name will be before what they say.
This story will now no longer be written with the help of AI. If you don't like my writing style, that is unfortunate but I will not force myself to write in a specific manner.
Thanks to all of you who have been patient and waited for me to update. I will try my best to write with a decent quality.
Each chapter will be at least 1,000 words or more.
Also do understand that since this is a FanFiction, I have taken some liberties to make some changes in the lore, though most of it will remain similar or the same.

"So Chat, what topic would y'all like to talk about today?" I asked the 1,000 or so people tuned in to my daily Twitch stream after I did my greeting.
Immediately afterwards, the chat was flooded with dozens of different suggestions. Many of which I have gone over before, some I haven't, some that were just horrendous and weird. Someone even asked me to discuss feet, they must have been a Miyazaki fan.
I noticed a specific suggestion from a long time chatter.
MaleniasProsthetic:"What about ranking all of the Demigod's by their strength?"
"Alright MaleniasProsthetic, your suggestion will be the one we talk about today, it piqued my interest. So, we will be discussing the power rankings of the Demigods." I say after a moment.
The chat immediately erupts in a frenzy as they start to say their own opinions.
LeonardTheHorse: "Radahn is easily the strongest, the guy was holding back stars and still pretty much came to a tie with Malenia."
ToesAndBros: "Nah, Malenia is the strongest, her voice line in game literally said that she has never known defeat."
Messages like these were sent one after another for a minute.
"Let's start from the weakest and make our way up to the strongest. The weakest is easily Godefroy and Godrick. They are both pretty much the same being with Godefroy being slower but more tanky. Godrick was only worth a damn as a boss since he had the Great Rune." I explained shortly, as it was obvious that they were the weakest.
The chat immediately agreed with me.
"Moving on, we have Rykard, and no I don't mean the snake, I mean just Rykard, before he allowed himself to be devoured by the serpent. He as a Demigod showed no actual prowess, even though he was the child of the Queen of Raya Lucaria and Carian Royal Family and the Second Elden Lord Radagon. To gain power, he just gave up himself and fused with the God-Devouring Serpent. And even then, his fight in game wasn't even fun, it was a gimmick fight." I say to the surprise of many.
The chat starts to argue back but they have really no suplemental evidence to support any of their arguements.
"Anyway, moving on, we have Miquella, which even with the DLC, his fighting prowess is never discovered. His body was left in the cocoon that you see in Mohg, the Lord of Bloods arena. In the opening cinematic, he and Malenia were called the Twin Prodigies, though there was never any evidence to show that Miquella was anywhere near as powerful as Malenia. The only true prowess that Miquella shows is his ability to curse himself and others along with his ability to sway other's to his cause." I say much to the dismay of some of the chatters.
Some chatters immediately start to argue back about how Miquella was strong enough to bring Radahn's soul back from death, and even revive him in Mohg's body. Some even talk about him actually ascending to godhood at the Divine Gate.
"You all can debate him being stronger if you want to, there is no real basis for these arguments. Moving to the next Demi-God, we have Morgott. He was a powerful figure who took command of Leyndell after the fall of the Golden Order. He also had the power to create a proxy being that watched over Godrick by the name of Margit. While he was a powerful Demi-God, he wasn't in the top ranks of them in power. HIs fight in game is only slightly difficult because of how much health his Great Rune gives him." I say as I explain that while Morgott was powerful, he was heavily bolstered by his Great Rune.
Many of the chatters agreed and gave their opinion that Miquella was stronger than him, while some argued that he is stronger than Mohg which hasn't been ranked yet.
"And speaking of Mohg, he is next on our list. Mohg as the Lord of Blood had an extremely powerful body as well as a very high mastery of blood magic. In the making of the game, they included the Purifying Cracked Tear to counter Mohg's blood curse , which just goes to show how powerful his mastery of the magic was that a specific counter had to be made. And that's just his main body, his avatar that he left in the sewers beneath Leyndell, Mohg the Omen, was debatably an even more difficult fight since it was immune to all status effects and could still use blood magic." I say, giving clear evidence for his ranking.
Many of the chatter's immediately started complaining, not about the ranking, but about the fights of Mohg, how some of them got stuck on either of them, how the 'Nihil' attack was stupid and shouldn't have been put into the game. Some even said that the Omen was stronger than The Lord of Blood. There was a bit of a back and forth in the chat, arguing about that.
"After Mohg we have Messmer. Messmer is very powerful, as he has survived a very long time and fought the Hornsent and their Divine Beasts in the Land of Shadows. He is shown to be very skilled with a spear and flame magic. He also has a connection to serpents due to being born with the Abyssal Serpent. It was sealed by Marika when she left him in the Land of Shadow but he can unseal it as seen in the fight you have with him." I explain.
The chatters had already expected Messmer to come up sometime soon with the way they just seemed to shrug in the chat.
"Alright, the next Demigod we have is Ranni. Her sheer magical prowess was insanely powerful, she had the ability to know you were fighting her mother, Renalla, and send you to a different dimension to fight a magical clone of her. She also had the ability to magically move her soul into a doll she made, fight a Two-FIngers, and kill it as well. And while the prowess of a Two-Finger's isn't known, it is still a Divine Messenger of an Outer God. And depending on if you did the Age of the Star's ending, Ranni does become a Goddess." I state, mentioning that if her ending is accomplished, she basically becomes the new Marika.
It appears that no one in chat was surprised about this one either, since everyone already knows who the top two are and they were the only ones left.
"Alright, and now, moving on to the top two, coming in at second place we have Malenia. Now, I know some of you are going to argue that she technically defeated Radahn when she bloomed, but if you had actually watched the trailer or watched my video where I broke it down, Radahn was not attempting to kill Malenia when she was weakened, he allowed her to get her bearings and stand back up. And he weakened her in the first place all while holding back the stars and didn't even look winded. And that is why Radahn is first place, even without mentioning his DLC power." I say, concluding the tier list.
I sit back and watch the chat discuss the tier list when I hear a donation alert go off, which is weird since I have donations alerts turned off.
I look over and see a name that looks like it is spelled in some weirdly familiar hieroglyphic runic alphabet.
TᚺᛖGᚱᛖᚨᛏᚺᛖᚱWᛁᛚᛚ: "Wherever shall Godwyn the Golden be placed in this supposed ranking of Demigods?"
"Quite the interesting name you have there, I don't know what language that is, but it looks familiar. But yeah, Godwyn, I forgot about him. Well, realistically speaking, as the eldest Demigod he would be in the upper echelon at the minimum. He fought in the Ancient Dragon War, he defeated Gransax, defeated both Lansseax and Fortissax, and almost single handedly ended the war. He also founded the Ancient Dragon Cult, introducing the Ancient Dragon Incantations into the world. I would probably rank him in the area around Malenia and Radahn." I say to the weirdly named Donator.
I then turn back and look at the chat where I see a chatter mention that the name looks kind of like the script of the Coded Sword.
I open a tab on my computer and pull up an image of the coded sword, comparing it to the name of the donator.
The script appears eerily similar, though the letters are different, saying something different than what is on the sword.
My focus is pulled when another alert goes off.
TᚺᛖGᚱᛖᚨᛏᚺᛖᚱWᛁᛚᛚ: "Do thou believe that if Godwyn had survived past the shattering, the world would have been a better place?"
The question brings me up short for a moment, as I hadn't thought much about Godwyn living and what it would mean for the world. I sit back and think for a few moments, seeing chat just chattering about the question or how they could make there name like that and other trivial things.
I reach an answer a few moments later.
"Yes, I think the world would be in much better place. Godwyn was an important figure in the Golden Lineage and was quite loved from the little amount of lore revealed about him. I believe that he would have been able to take control of the Leyndell forces and at least maintain a level of peace." I say in response.
The chat continues to fly past, people discussing the question, wondering who this donator is, how they have their name like that, and what the next question will be, if there is one.
That last question is answered a moment later.
TᚺᛖGᚱᛖᚨᛏᚺᛖᚱWᛁᛚᛚ: "Why do thou believe that Godwyn was the only Demigod to die in the Shattering?"
This question also brings me to a blank again. These questions are leading into a direction, that I don't yet know the direction of. After a few moments of contemplation, I get to an answer.
"I do believe it was due to his kindness and manner of trust that I think he would have had. He was a beloved figure within the Golden Order that probably never needed to worry about being betrayed. So he would never have thought that he would get assassinated. All the other demigods were different, Malenia and Radahn were generals/commanders of their own forces and not easy to get to, Ranni was the one who orchestrated the assassination, Mohg and Morgott were still within the sewers, Rykard was probably within Raya Lucaria or Volcano Manor, and Miquella was probably protected by Malenia. Godrick was not even a player on the field at that point either." I say answering the question with some skepticsim creeping in, my gut not trusting where these questions are going, as I feel some sort of not quite danger from these donations.
The chat continues flowing as I wait for the next question, knowing that there is going to be one.
TᚺᛖGᚱᛖᚨᛏᚺᛖᚱWᛁᛚᛚ: "What wouldst thou have done differently hadst thou been in his position?"
Expecting this kind of question, I have an answer prepared. Being an overthinker gave me an answer to this question already.
"It really depends on what time frame I have. The more preparation time I have, the better it would be. Like if I was put in his position on the Night of the Black Knives, it wouldn't turn out to differently I don't think. But if I could have a lot of time to prepare, such as when he was younger and I could shape his public image, it would make me seem like much less of a targetable figure for Ranni. Though she would still probably target Godwyn just because he is the only true heir to the Golden Order and since she wants the Age of Stars then she can't allow the Golden Order to truly survive." I reply, my mind just running through the scenarios of what I could or would be able to do.
"Though, if I could take over for him when he was young, like in his teenage years, where he is in the perfect age to train and get stronger, I could use my knowledge from this world and the training methods from anime and manga that I have seen to get strong enough that the other Demigods wouldn't be able to beat me, much less the Black Knife Assassins." I say a moment later, after a thought occurred to me.
I sit back and wait for the next question or donation from whoever this is.
After a few moments of waiting, the next donation comes through.
TᚺᛖGᚱᛖᚨᛏᚺᛖᚱWᛁᛚᛚ: "Good luck on thine journey."
Before I can even respond or ask what they meant, they edges of the text start to expand, like golden cracks across my screen. I jump back in a panic, my chair being thrown back as it rolls away. The facecam catching my face as panic spreads across it and me jumping back but not being able to see my screen, the chat explodes with questions, asking what's going on, what's happening, and other similar things. Though I am much to panicked to respond or even read any of them.
The golden cracks continue to spread across my screen until they reach the edges of the screen. Then the screen seems to start bulging out toward me, as if something is filling up the inside. My gut and instincts are telling me to get the hell out of this room, and as I turn but before I can even take a step, I hear a creaking sound from the monitor. I turn back to look at it, and regret that decision a moment later as the screen gives way and a golden explosion blasts toward me.
The last thing I remember is the golden explosion impacting into me, and then nothing.

And welcome back to Chapter 1 for the third time to all of you who have been here since the first iteration.
This is the first time I have written the chapter without the help of AI. I will no longer be using AI to assist in writing.
On another note, there unfortunately isn't any know alphabet for the Elden Ring language so I had to find an alternative. I wanted to use Phyrexian but WebNovel can't support it, si I had to look into Runic languages and settled on Elder Futhark.
I hope you enjoyed.
