Arthur faced forward again.
The wolves were already closing in, drawn by the energy gathering around him. Their growls grew louder, more aggressive, as if they sensed the threat but couldn't stop themselves from charging.
Arthur exhaled once.
Then he let it go.
The spear shot forward.
For a split second..
There was no sound.
Just a blur of fire and wind tearing through the space ahead.
Then..
Everything exploded.
The impact ripped through the wolves like they were nothing. Fire spread outward in a violent surge, wind carrying it further, faster, turning the entire front line into a storm of heat and force.
The ground tore open.
Bodies were thrown.
Some didn't even get that far as they were erased where they stood.
The explosion followed a heartbeat later, loud enough to shake the air around them. The force pushed back everything in its path, clearing a wide stretch in front of the group.
When it settled.. there was nothing left in that line.
Just scorched ground.
