THEO'S POV:
I was alone in the gym, practicing for the upcoming basketball match, but my mind was somewhere else. Even though I was distracted, I still threw the ball perfectly into the basket. But I couldn't get the image out of my head, Kayla getting off a bus with that boy.
From what I know about Kayla, she would never get on a bus. Even on school trips, she came in her own car instead of the school bus because she thinks buses are too normal for her and she hates the word "normal."
And that day… she was on a bus with some random guy?
It's unbelievable. I know I don't have any right to think like this, but still who is that boy? Why is he so close to Kayla that she would do something she never thought she would?
Who's that mysterious guy?

I turned at the sound of someone shouting my name. I saw Sevi running toward me. When he reached me, he bent slightly, catching his breath.
"What happened?"
After taking a few deep breaths, he spoke.
"Please help me…"
"Help you with what?"
"You know that guy I told you about the one I took money from? The one who looks like a Japanese wrestler?"
"Yeah, so?"
"He's after me now, saying he wants his money back or he'll break my bones."
"Let's go to him."
"Thank you!"
We walked over to the group of students who were chasing Sevi. They smirked when they saw us.
"Give our money back, you punk!"
