"Respected Lord, we only copied the Array and the Spell from the ancient Classics. In theory, they should be flawless..."
The scholars whispered among themselves for a moment, but their conclusion was one of helplessness. "We only replicated what was recorded in the Classics the Maya family has collected. Since you are unwilling to personally conduct the summoning, you naturally cannot receive the knowledge from the Dragon Pearl. Our hands are tied."
'Useless fools...'
Lord Maya cursed inwardly. He knew, of course, that the scholars were right. Since he couldn't personally conduct the summoning ritual, it was only natural he couldn't access the knowledge passed down within the Dragon Pearl. If the Array was flawed, he couldn't blame the scholars who had perfectly recreated it according to the records in the Classics.
'But I paid a fortune to hire them precisely to solve problems like this!'
