Finn Hawthorne saw her staring at the fruit basket and thought she wanted to eat something. "Which one do you want? I'll get it for you."
Faye Vaughn pointed to the orange. "Your dear Serena Beckett said oranges are nutritious. Bring it over, let me have a look."
Hearing the tartness in her voice, Finn Hawthorne's lips curved into a satisfied smile.
'It takes a rival to make her feel the pressure.'
'She does care.'
Finn Hawthorne rummaged through the fruit basket and found only one orange. He muttered, "What kind of fruit shop only gives you one of each fruit?"
Hearing him, Faye Vaughn's eyes narrowed slightly.
'Looks like Serena Beckett really did tamper with it.'
'Did she inject some kind of poison into the orange?'
'Would she really try to harm someone so brazenly?'
"Should I cut the orange for you?" Wanting to show his chivalry, Finn Hawthorne walked over to the small bar in the sitting area and cut up the orange.
Faye Vaughn was lost in thought.
