"We're going to Moonveil Lake now?" Martin's family stared at me in surprise. They looked at each other, their faces growing wary. "But it's getting closer to the wedding…"
"The Alpha has given us permission to go, and we'll be back in a few days by the latest," I said quickly, allaying their concerns. I didn't want to waste a lot of time convincing them. "I want to revisit Moonveil Lake as a way to thank the Moon Goddess for giving me a second chance at life. If she hadn't granted me mercy, I would have died after the wedding."
At my words, Martin's family began to look more enthusiastic about the impromptu excursion.
"Of course we must visit Moonveil Lake― in fact, our entire family should go! If the Moon Goddess didn't save you, you wouldn't have been able to save Martin. We all owe her your thanks!"
