Chapter 31 - CH.30

Harrison weighed his options; on one hand, he would be giving up his location, but on the other, he would get information about Dumbledore and he doubted the twins would tell anyone.

"Very well," Harrison sighed, "I've been going to the Chamber of Secrets."

"The Chamber of Secrets," Twin 1 breathed to which almost made Harrison roll his eyes at some of their stupidity but he had to give these twins a chance.

"Does that mean The Chamber of Secrets' legend is real?"

Harrison nodded.

The twins didn't bother feigning their interests about the Chamber of Secrets, as they asked him a question that he refused to answer- mainly because he didn't want to put Amara at risk, and what was the point in keeping the curiosity and the questions that would remain if he answered them.

"Does that mean it's true that there is a monster hiding in the Chamber that Salazar Slytherin hid?"

"But how did you discover the chamber?"

"Is it after the fact that you've lingered in the dungeons for weeks at a time?"

The twins pestered him with questions, and much like Draco's curiosity-he had to fulfill their own curiosity with one question that lingered in his brain.

"How did you know I explored the dungeons for a few weeks after I've been sorted? Have you been spying on me like Draco has?"

One of the twins laughed before he replied, "It's because of our map- it tells us what every person in the castle is doing, where they are at."

Harrison refrained from sighing, as the relievement that the twins hadn't been spying on him like Draco had. But the mention of the map perked his interests.

"Show me."

One of the twins produced the map-it was a blank piece of parchment. At first, he assumed there was nothing of it before the other twin pressed their dark, mahogany and towards the blank parchment and said,

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."

The parchment then revealed itself. Words appeared, scrawled in black ink as he read what was written on the parchment, "Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs

Purveyors of Aids to Magical Mischief-Makers

are proud to present

THE MARAUDER'S MAP"

Harrison's eyes lingered as he read the names on the parchment. He squeezed his fists tightly; he knew exactly who all these people were. In the snippets of conversations from his early childhood before Azkaban, his "parents" friends also referred to each other by their names. Prongs being James Potter, Padfoot as Sirius Black and Moony being Remus Lupin and the last one he didn't know.

"Now about Dumbledore?" He asked for what seemed to be the tenth time, but in reality, was probably the third time.

The twins glanced at each other before sharing, a glint of scheming written in their eyes. He was tempted to use legilimens, but he couldn't fuck this up.

"Perhaps we should consolidate with Padfoot, as he would be able to explain this matter better than us," One of the twins said to the other twin.

"What does this have to do with Padfoot?" Harrison inquired.

They grinned like cheshire cats.

The next morning, Harrison sat next to Draco and Theodore on his right side. He took a drink out of his pumpkin juice when the flock of owls that delivered the mail, dropping like stones towards the students. He didn't notice a black owl with matching wings, as it swooped down- dropping a white envelope addressed towards him.

He untied the rope, and read the first few words:

Friday Night at midnight

The Murder Inn, Knockturn Alley

It wasn't signed, but Harrison knew exactly who had sent it. He quickly pocketed the letter, watching as Draco's eyes quickly looked away. He smirked, content that the blonde was hiding his curiosity better, especially concerning his matters.

Knockturn Alley was home to many inhabitants, most of them creatures or people who didn't want to be known that they were down in the alley. He was pretty sure he saw a vampire, its fang glistening in the poor lit streetlight. Beggars and hagglers were absent, probably late as people who were out late- normally meant business.

Harrison fixed his hood to where it was partially covering his face, and the two matching black robes that belonged to Fred and George. They hurried along in quick paces, not paying any attention to any surroundings. The deeper they went, the less creatures were notable until they reached a tavern, tucked in the corner between several buildings.

He quickly understood why Sirius Black would meet here. The less ears, the better.

The twins sat down at the bar table, asking for three butterbeers while they sat there, hoods up still. Harrison took a moment and studied his surroundings, a werewolf with his hairy arms, and scars littered his face, nursing a fireball whiskey. HIs posture looked exhausted, and looked like he was done with life.

He couldn't help but ask a question that plagued his mind. The Potters stopped talking about Sirius Black, and there was no mention of him from Saeviour's lips. It was like he never existed.

"What happened to him? Did the Potters do something?"

"They kicked me out because of my surname," Someone commented behind him, Harrison stiffened but he recognized the voice.

It had been so long since he heard Sirius Black's voice. And now here he was in person, his black hair curled on the bottom, reaching slightly past his shoulders. He looked more alive than ever before, but the black eyes held the Black maniac gaze that all inhabitants of the Black family held, fully present in his eyes. It looked like Sirius had finally embraced his background. Bellatrix would perhaps be pleased to hear about that.

"Black," Harrison greeted.

"Harrion, it's good to see you," Sirius greeted.
