Jay's POV:
It's been 3 months since I became Keifer's girlfriend. Now everyone knows that I'm his girlfriend.
"Hey, why is Keifer here?" Aries said. I looked at him, confused.
I went downstairs and saw him kneeling in front of my family.
My dad.
My mom.
My tita.
My kuya.
No one noticed me.
"Please, I want to marry her. I promise I'll take good care of her. Please give me permission. We'll get married after our final exams," Keifer said. My eyes went wide.
"We know, Keifer. You already passed our test. You've been asking us for this for the past one month, so we give you our permission," Dad said. Kuya nodded.
I just stood there, frozen. I turned around and went toward my room.
I locked the door and started jumping on the bed.
"Yehhhhh!" I screamed.
Okay, okay... I'm gonna pretend like nothing happened.
I went downstairs and saw him chatting with my family and flirting with my grandma.
"Hey, Keif," I said.
He looked at me and hugged me.
"When did you come?" I asked.
"Just now," he said.
I nodded and sat down.
Time skip – After the final exams
Husshh... Finally, the exams are over now.
I was thinking about going to Keifer's house to meet Kegain and Kerein when my phone buzzed.
Keifer
"Hello, baby," I said.
"Hello, baby. Get ready. We're going on a date," he said and cut the call.
Huh!
I changed my clothes and wore a beautiful dress. I did some minimal makeup and waited for Keifer's call.
"Jayy! Keifer is here!" Aries shouted.
I went downstairs and saw him.
He was wearing a white shirt and looked so handsome.
"Hi, baby," he said and hugged me.
I hugged him back, and we said bye to everyone.
He opened the car door for me, and I sat down. Then he sat in the driver's seat.
"You're looking so beautiful," he said and kissed my cheek.
"You're looking so handsome too," I said.
He chuckled and started the car.
Soon, we reached a dark place.
"Keif..." I whispered.
"There's a surprise for you, Jay, so close your eyes," he said and blindfolded me.
He helped me get out of the car and guided me as we walked.
When we finally stopped, he slowly removed my blindfold.
I slowly opened my eyes.
Everything was dark.
Then suddenly, the lights turned on, and I was shocked.
Because in front of me were the words 'Marry Me,' and the whole place was beautifully decorated.
"Keif..." I whispered and turned around, only to see Keifer on one knee, while my whole family and all our friends were standing in front of us.
"Jay... first, I want to thank you so much for always staying with me, always supporting me. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you so much for loving me. I promise, Jay, that I'll always take good care of you. I'll always love you. Jay... will you marry me?" he said as he pulled out a beautiful diamond ring.
My eyes filled with tears.
"Yes, Keifer... an infinite number of times, yes!" I screamed.
Everyone laughed and clapped their hands.
I held out my hand, and he gently slid the ring onto my ring finger.
He stood up and pulled me into his arms.
We leaned in and kissed each other.
Everyone cheered.
I looked around.
This was the best day of my life.
After having dinner with everyone, I said goodbye to them and to Keifer, then left with my family.
As I sat in the car, I looked at my ring and smiled to myself.
Just then, my head started spinning.
I ignored it.
Because this had been happening to me for the last 3 months.
As we entered the house, I didn't feel well, so I ran to my room and changed my clothes.
Just as I was about to sleep, I suddenly felt like throwing up.
I ran to the bathroom and vomited.
Just then, my eyes landed on a packet of pads.
Shit!
I hadn't gotten my period for the last 3 months.
Am I...?
No... no... no...
I think I should talk to Keifer.
Yeah... I'll go tomorrow and talk to him.
I washed my face, drank some water, then drifted off to sleep with my hand resting on my stomach.
I don't know why.
The next morning, I woke up feeling so dizzy.
I took a bath and called Keifer to pick me up.
I went downstairs and greeted everyone.
"Jay, come have breakfast," Tita said.
I smiled and shook my head.
"No, Tita. I'm not hungry... and I'm going out with Keifer," I said.
She nodded.
Just then, Keifer's car honked, and I went outside.
I didn't wait for him to open the door and just got in.
"Jay, good morning," he said and kissed my cheek.
I smiled at him and hugged him tightly.
"What happened?" he asked.
"I think I'm pregnant," I said.
He choked on air.
"What?" he said.
I nodded.
"Yes, because I haven't gotten my period for the last 3 months. Also, for the past few months, I've been feeling so dizzy, and sometimes I throw up," I said.
"Why didn't you tell me about this sooner?" Keifer asked.
I looked down.
"I'm sorry, Keifer. I didn't want to give you a headache, so I didn't tell you," I said.
He sighed and held my hands.
"Baby, it's okay. I'm here. Let's go to the hospital," he said.
I nodded, and he started the car.
I just prayed to God.
