Ava's Pov:
I dialed Leon's number at least twenty times on the way back home. I contemplated going back to Alicia's house but I wasn't sure how she'd react, and her reaction determined whether I'd go into a spiral or not.
I got home and immediately asked for Marvin.
"You called for me?"
"Do you have any idea where Leon could be?"
His look was a mix of confusion and worry.
"Ugh no, he didn't tell anyone where he was going."
"Well can you track his phone or something?"
He hesitated.
"Now is not the time to be loyal to him. If you know something, tell me!"
He stepped back as I moved closer.
"I can't track his phone, but I overheard his conversation with Noah yesterday about meeting at a warehouse."
"What warehouse?"
"I don't know."
"Marvin!"
"I'm sorry Ava, I can't help you."
He gently pulled away from my grasp and walked out of the room.
Then, my phone rang. An unknown number. I could only think of one person.
"Max." I said as I answered.
