Luz couldn't believe what she was hearing since Maestro knew about Glyphs even Eda didn't know about them until she showed her the light one.
He could teach her everything and he did seem more..... mature then Eda. She wasn't insulting or saying that she was bad or anything but... it did seem like she kinda didn't know what she was doing and left teaching to the school.
That didn't mean Eda was a bad teacher she just didn't know about Glyphs. While this Maestro guy felt wrong like he felt unnatural and she wanted to run away from him but she stood her ground and tried to keep a brave face but she couldn't.
She couldn't handle whatever Maestro was emitting but didn't want to come out as rude, plus she did have something to do today.
"Well that's a nice offer Mr Maestro but I'm kinda working on a book for a contest" She went back upstairs to check on how King was doing.
"All I ask is that you think about it!" He yelled so Luz could hear him as his kind smile quickly turned into a scowl as he wondered why Luz refused his offer. He thought about it and it was probably due to his Unnatural Aura drawback which would always make people uneasy around him.
He would make a note to train on that ability at a later date. He wasn't going to get himself involved with the plot but he would grab some things from the owl house in order to make some potions since he was sure that she would at least have some of them but he would hold off on making anything since he had no where to put them and didn't want to go back to his pocket Dimension yet.
He would just relax until Eda came back and would accompany Luz and King to that contest thing they were talking about.

Couple days went by and everything went according to the plot for the duo and Maestro didn't assist them since he knew that they'd be fine and was busy looking at other books while he sent out Metroman to kidnap Odaila since he wanted her as well.
Maestro himself had drained those lizard men of their magic and also those cubed authors as well since they also had magic although there was a witness in Tiny Noise but he left her alone since nobody would believe her.
He noticed his body had changed from being fit into becoming bigger. He was almost as tall as Metro Man and his muscles had grown as well.
Although there was a close call where Luz and King almost found out but by sheer luck they didn't notice due to him already making Odiala his slave and putting both of them in his void but he wasn't willing to answer questions about his new body so he broke his oath to not mind control them but he wouldn't make them bound to him and only rewrite their memories into accepting his new body without question and would do the same with Eda when she came back. He also made sure to give Luz memories of her learning about all the glyphs.
While he wanted it to be more personal and not sloppy at all he just wanted to get the girls and go since he was feeling restless due to his impending doom of Laura right around the corner he felt like he could go a couple rounds with her now.
With all that free time he was able to create a potion thanks to Eda's ingredients and made a Combat Training potion in order to help him out incase of a physical fight. He knew he still needed more power since one could never have enough power and again multiverse scary place.
He talked with Hooty about inane stuff and got along well since he wasn't gonna see the bird tube thing ever again when he was done it was the least he could do. He didn't feel like playing the long lost friend anymore and wanted to go now since he had to prepare himself for Laura since the next day was Saturday. He rewritten all their memories so that they saw Eda die thanks to Belos and that he also killed Luz's Mom Camilla since he was planning to take her as well.
Eda did come home to give Maestro a piece of her mind but he put her in his void since he didn't want to deal with her right now and brought out Metroman in order to fly him to the Emperor's Castle in order to drain the coven head's of their magic or least the ones who would get in their way.
His body could handle the flight there and he ordered him to shoot his lasers and destroy the castle as he made his way to the castle and so Metro Man did what he was told and started lasering the castle.
There was some resistance from the guards but magic draining was helpful for that and he grew bigger a bit and blew the door open and the scouts guarding the inside didn't far much better as their magic had also be drained.
The castle was in chaos since it was being destroyed outside and was being drained of their magic. There was no direction of the coven heads since they thought it was a basilisk attack and some ran while some wanted the glory of defeating a basilisk for Belos in hopes of glory and more prestige among them.
The ones that stood in Maestro's way were Adrian who was the head of the illusion coven and Mason head of the construction coven who were complete opposites and often argued but had a common goal to bring him down.
"Ah gentlemen I don't suppose you could lead me to the relic room" Maestro tried to be polite.
Mason just pulled out his hammer and slammed it on the floor sending magic that raised the stone into sharp points in order to stab Maestro.
Maestro just jumped in order to avoid it thanks to his stolen magic. Why didn't he just take control of their minds and make them tell him where the relic room was? It was because he wanted to test out his combat training potion effect which he made permanent.
He raised his hands in order to perform a ground slam which was even bigger than Mason's. The construction coven head saw that the sheer strength of that shockwave and so swung his hammer in order to shatter the sharp rocks coming towards him and was successful.
"Adrian distract him for a moment" Mason asked the illusion coven head since he was about put on his strength enhancing glyph and needed a moment to do it.
"Don't tell me what to do you brute!" Adrian still listened despite his protest and used his illusion magic to distract Maestro.
Maestro only saw darkness complete and utter darkness he didn't see the castle nor both of the coven heads until he was smacked in the face by a hammer and the force behind it would've shattered his jaw if not for his stolen magic.
Still blood was dripping from his lip and Maestro was enraged and waited for the next attack which came from Mason trying to attack his side so he tried to punch his face but it went right though his face.
Before Maestro processed anything he was hit by a block of stone which threw him back but was able to grab it and toss it back to the direction he assumed Mason was in. He was getting quite bored of this fight and decided to try to use magic.
He shot out a magic laser from his mouth but he made sure it was condensed since things are always better if it was condensed right?
That laser shot through Mason's chest knocking him back and he felt a burning pain from it. He could feel blood pouring out and he coughed out a request.
"Adrian go and get Hettie to heal me!"
Adrian was scared since he just saw the strongest witch in physical terms go down by a magic laser by what he assumed to be a wild witch since what else could it be.
Maestro meanwhile broke out of the illusion magic using his own stolen magic and of course screaming and he shot out a laser from his finger at Mason's head to finish him off. He was a little miffed about not draining his magic but it was whatever.
He looked towards Adrian with a wicked grin.
"Now then if you don't want to end up like your friend here then you will lead me to the relic room now" Maestro said as he amplified his unnatural area and Adrien could not agree faster and proceeded to lead him to the relic room at least that's what Adrien wanted this wild witch to believe.
He was leading him towards the emperor's room so that Belos could destroy him and he could claim credit. It was quite unfortunate that Mason had died but it was better for him.
He led him to the throne room which Maestro knew immediately and thrusting his hand through Adrian's lower back before draining his magic and leaving him on the floor to die as he rushed to the relic room as fast as possible until a surprising guest stood in his way.
He knew it by the way his body stopped moving after he heard a violin.
It was Raine, head of the bard coven do their damn best to stop him. An adorable effort but ultimately futile since he just absorbed the magic sustain him in place and as tempting as it was to drain of all their magic he would only drain a little bit to weaken them just enough to make them feel light headed and pass out.
He had no intention of killing them he would make them a weapon. He took control of their mind and changed their memories into thinking that Belos killed Eda and knew about Luz, King and Hooty.
He left them there as he made his way to the relic room and yet again was stopped by someone he wanted to see which was Lilith. He quickly took control of her mind and put her in his void and he finally completed what he wanted to do.
There was still Camilla and that was it and sure there was kikimora but honestly he already had a shortstack in Morag. So Camilla and that would be it for this world and would prepare for the next day with Laura.
He finally made his way to the relic room and it's a shame he didn't bring a backpack and only made the one potion but he didn't want to carry any of them without a bag.
Those relics looked awesome but again shame he couldn't carry them and so decided to absorb their magic and they were each magically powerful in their own way and each carried their own magical effects that was just complete hax.
He would test out the effects at a later date. He did grow a lot more than he did from absorbing from the scouts.
His height became more absurd with it becoming a whopping 20 feet and his hair became more raised and spiky, his eyes glowing with white energy but he was still there.
He telepathically told Metroman that they were done since he was pretty sure he got what he wanted from here and so Metroman being the loyal man he was flew next to him. Maestro thought that he should try to be a good master and throw a Metroman a bone.
"Metroman let me know what you want as a reward and I'll see if I can get alright" Maestro offered.
Metroman just nodded a bow and best not to look a gift horse in the mouth and question his godfather's goodwill as Maestro just opened a portal to earth directly.
It seemed that with more magic he absorbed he was able to control where he could go to an easier extent or maybe it was because it was in the same universe either way, the house was right next to him and it was the house of Camellia noceda.
It was a simple matter of a smash and grab and of course she screamed so he just took control of her mind and put her in the void. Her house was ruined but she wouldn't be coming back here. He also came here to pay back his debt to Susie and get her that electric wheelchair and sure he could probably create it with all the stolen magic with enough effort but rampaging as a small Kaiju was more fun.
He put Metroman back into the void and proceed to think about what to actually do with Susie debt and decided to be responsible and create a electric wheelchair on his own since he was sure this was just a small town and not a city and sheer laziness he wanted to go back home.
He opened his pocket Dimension and went through it.

He felt no longer tired and just started to get to work on creating an electric wheelchair without the use of his pocket Dimension powers and only using his stolen magic since it would be killing two birds with one stone.
He knew what was coming the next time and he hoped him being 20 feet would save him from being drained from Laura.
