Ryuu and Rei woke up the next day. Ryuu was in the kitchen making breakfast when Rei walked in and hugged him from behind. Rei, there is something I want to tell and show you. Ryuu said as he flipped a pancake.
Rei looked at him confused and worried, then she said what do you want to tell me Ryuu? Ryuu looked at her as he placed the finished pancake on a plate filled with eggs and sausage.
He set the plates down and looked at her. Rei, something big is gonna happen in the next year or so. I have been looking into it and my parents were also investigating it. My parents are back in Japan and I want you to meet them as well as hear the whole thing from them as well as seeing what I have done to prepare for what will happen.
Rei looked at him and just nodded. They got ready and got into his car. He drove to the fob which was over the fortress. He noticed a Valkyrie decloak and land into the fob. He drove in and watched Rei's face as she looked around.
The car stopped and they got out. Commander Janus walked up to Ryuu and saluted. Your majesty, welcome to the fob. Your parents just landed and are waiting for you in the office. I nodded at him and guided Rei into the office with my parents.
We walked in and my mom ran up to me and hugged me. We sat down and I Introduced Rei as my girlfriend. This is my girlfriend Rey Miyamoto, and these are my parents, Rei. Now Rei we have a lot to talk about, and I wanted to be honest with you and my parents on how all of this around us came to be. They all nodded.
I began to recount everything I knew, pointing out the documents that my parents left behind. They added more context to what I was saying, through all this Rei looked horrified. Finally, we got down to how I have a whole army under my command without any government oversite or attention.
He thought about what he should say but decided that I shouldn't lie about anything, especially when the system didn't tell him couldn't tell anyone.
So, I have a system. Like the ones you see in anime or manga. It allows me to build; command save lives during the coming storm. I can research tech that is far beyond what we have now. I can find a way to get rid of the virus once it becomes known. Ryuu said.
The rest of the meeting became one of an actual family meeting and Ryuu's parents loved Rei and immediately wanted grandkids. Despite all of the future trouble and dark times ahead, Ryuu and his family made a shining beacon for not only them and for the future of humanity.
