Capsule Corp flying vehicles hovered everywhere.
He jumped into a cheap public air-craft — like a helicopter mixed with a jet.
"Take me up. High altitude. North direction."
The pilot barely questioned it.
The craft lifted into the sky.
From far away — very far — the MC could still feel the terrifying energy of Raditz.
Like a burning sun in the distance.
"I'll wait," he whispered.
"Let the strong handle this."
Raditz stood on Kame Island holding Gohan.
Goku's hands shook.
"Let my son go!"
Raditz smirked.
"If you want him back — kill one hundred Earthlings."
Krillin gasped.
"W-What?!"
Goku froze.
He couldn't do it.
Raditz laughed.
"So soft, Kakarot."
Suddenly — BOOM!
Piccolo attacked from behind.
The island exploded with energy blasts.
The fight began.
They rushed him together.
Punches cracked the air.
Energy waves ripped through the ocean.
But Raditz was faster.
Stronger.
He blocked everything easily.
He grabbed Goku by the face and slammed him into the ground.
"You're weak!"
He broke Piccolo's arm.
Crushed Goku's ribs.
The difference in power was cruel.

Raditz tightened his grip on Gohan.

A massive burst of energy exploded from Gohan's body.

Raditz flew back, armor shattered.
Blood spilled from his mouth.
"WHAT—WHAT WAS THAT POWER?!"
Even Piccolo was shocked.
"That kid…"
Raditz was hurt.

Piccolo gathered energy in his fingers.
The Special Beam Cannon began spinning.
Raditz grabbed Goku.
"Stay back or I kill him!"
Goku made a decision.
He wrapped both arms around Raditz tightly.
"Piccolo…"
"NOW!!!"
Raditz panicked.
"WAIT—KAKAROT YOU IDIOT—!"
Piccolo fired.
A blazing spiral beam ripped through the sky.
It pierced straight through Raditz.
And through Goku.
Silence.
Smoke rose slowly.
Raditz collapsed.
Goku collapsed.
Both lifeless.

High in the sky, miles away in the flying craft…
The MC's vision exploded with blue light.
