Nixxin stares at the blank state he sees when his eyes are closed; he forces himself to do it, to do how Sats does it. He can't enter the state; he has to. He opens his eyes, and in his thoughts, what the fuck, how am I going to use my abilities?
He goes back and forces himself again and again and again all night, and then he just stands up. He opens the door in the library, and he's shocked that even after trying many times for a week, he still didn't get it; it is already sunrise.
Nixxin goes for a walk, and when he asks the gates he has in his thoughts, Hey, anyone of you, can you guys answer on how I get those freewill fuel shit?
Nixxin sighs and stares at the sky; he realizes he wasted all of his free will fuel as a kid; he kept spamming gates without knowing how to get it. Now he can't even talk to them.
Nixxin opened the door; he crossed the pedestrian lane in front. There are houses in the street, and all of them have people, but he barely sees them; most of them just teleport to go to the top of the planet Ross and just come back inside the Ross planet. Their life is repeating as if they never had it.
Then he wondered, As far as I know, I once talked to Invidia last week when we were on a mission with Sats. Why can't I interact with my gate?
Then he sees a 3-kid playing, and another kid opens a door to talk to the other. Then the kid that just got out of the house brings a key; he opens a cage, a cage where there's a dog. The dog happily runs and jumps to play with the kids.
Then Nixxin asks himself a question: Those kids, am I a pedophile? Hell nah, he walks past many houses; the only pattern he sees is everyone goes outside when there's someone, which means one could get everyone out, but our guy Nixxin is stupid; he cannot get it; he literally can't be fun at a party.
Nixxin entered a flower shop, "Hey miss."
A woman showed up, "Yes? Would like to buy any flower in here?"
Nixxin looks at the flowers, most of it is hybrid tea roses, and some other type, "I just want to ask, on where Sats live? And I also wanted to know, on where Aeolous always goes?"
The girls thinks a second, "As far as I know, Sats is the young hero, in the north part of Bridhy-A which is also below Bridhy-T, while Aeolous..." The girl continued, "I think he is always in a mountain in west of our region training his sword skill and bloodpath, although I always heal him, when he come back, that's all I know."
Nixxin opened the door, "Thank you miss!"
Nixxin looks at the roads, then he sees couple jogging, "Hey man, excuse me, where can I find taxi in here?"
The man looks back, while the girl stopped, "Ahhh... There's no, cars in here, unless it was necessary, but there's carriages if you cross the bridge down there."
Nixxin goes to the place the man says, he crosses the bridge, the water flow seems fastly dangerous, then he sees horses and men waiting, a elder woman sit in a carriage, and they go, Nixxin looks at the man near him, "Sir, what's the cost to get to Bridhy-A?"
The man looks at him, "I don't know, as them."
Nixxin approaches the man pointed, then one man looks at him and ask, "Where?"
Nixxin didn't notice a rock, and almost fell to the ground, the men laughs, as Nixxin shook the dirts in his clothes, "In north of Bridhy-A"
The man hop on a carriage, Nixxin climb the carriage, and he sit. The carriage start running, for the first time, he sees many people outside, kids playing, people talking, students going to school, he even sees the rich girl that likes Drei walking with her friends, many vendor starts appearing.
In less than an hour, they can already see Bridhy-A, many carriage starts appearing, as they crosses a market, many people are lifting their products, people buying, kids crying after not seeing their parents in the crowd, the noise feels alive, after crossing the market, the carriage turn in left, it is going up at it was climbing, while going higher, the air starts to get stronger, and Nixxin starts to see how large the city is, he never sees old styled houses in real life, now he is looking at it, like a kingdom in a fantasy novel, the city is smaller than what Nixxin can see, but he already see the sea, ports, ships, castles and palaces,
He looks at the man infront, "Mr., How large is this city?"
The men looks below, "Depends, do you like literal answer or something like describing it's size?"
Nixxin looks aboves, massive floating lands, above the clouds, if they will climb it, it will took for them for 2hours to climbs. After an hours, they finally climb the lands, Nixxin looks at the edge, outside a towering walls, then he walks a little to get to a dark tunnel, when he is entering the tunnel, many carriage rushing to go outside, he jumps over the carriage, the man looks at him, then he continues, the tunnel is longer than expected.
When he's inside, he sees many couple, students playing, people around his ages, talking with each other about school romance, the air is strong in here, perfect for kids to play kites, many kites are in here, most of it got tangled with each other. Then a one kid points at him, "Hey guys, looks at that, a spacemen."
As the kids laugh, Nixxin wants to kill the kid, another kids shouted at him, "He looks like a slave! He must be going to his master in here." Kid laughs, while sitting at tree and flying kites.
Then there's a white staircase, he goes down, he bump to a man walking with a girl, Nixxin says "Sorry!"
And after getting out of the garden, he sees thousands of houses, and enormously large castle in the middle, "How am I going to find Sats?"
Stands outside a tavern, he opened the door and enter, this place is a hero tavern, the Ross Planet is trying so hard to be in medieval era, to the point, there's no single piece of high technology allowed, although some are allowed for daily needs, everything else's is in outside, where the Planet Ross is covered by circling metallic machineries, where most of Ross Planet population live and work, but inside below almost all the light is artificial Sun.
The tavern is loud, full of people drinking and some looking for missions, Nixxin goes to the counter, "Hey! Do you guys know who Sats is?"
The woman in the counter looks at Nixxin, "Sats? The 7 tiered kid? That kid was around the villa near the fall roses garden in east."
Stepped back, "Thank you ma'am!"
Then Nixxin sees the missions list, he looks for missions foster in the wall, every rank has its information and rank allowed, then he ask the man beside him, "Is there a high tier mission for a 5 tier?"
The man looks at him, "You're a 5 tiered?"
Nixxin smiled, he knew the man doesn't trust him, a kid reaching 5 tier isn't common, although in the land, everyone knew Sats, "Yes."
The man pulled the board to the left, as the board slides, he sees another board, it is empty only one is left, the man pulled it and give it to Nixxin, "That is allowed for 5 to 8."
Nixxin smiles, "Thank you!"
Nixxin go to the counter, "Ma'am can I take this mission, here's my card."
The woman looks at the card, and pick up a pen and sign the back of the mission foster and put Nixxin's name, Nixxin looks at the board and ask the woman, "Why is the board empty?"
The girl looks at it, "Because, there's group or guild, who took many hard mission, most of it being 7 and above, the leader is in celestial ranking, that guy is incredibly strong!"
Nixxin pick up his card and opened his wallet to put it back, and put his foster mission in his pocket, when he is going outside, he bump to a tall man, the man is too strong Nixxin fall back, other heroes inside looks at the man, then the man looks at the board, it is empty, the man is sure there's one left for today.
Nixxin goes outside, to go to Sats. After Nixxin got to the villa, a guard asked him, "What do you want?"
Nixxin looked at the guard. "I just want to meet Sats; I heard he lives here."
The guard said while walking back, not looking at Nixxin. "Young master, go for an interview to enter a hero guild."
Nixxin got so angry at the guard's attitude in his thoughts. If Uncle Welp were here, he would buy the whole planet; you're acting like this villa is worth a lot. Nixxin looked back. "Anyways, I have to go to complete this mission. What is this even about?"
While walking, Nixxin read the mission information in his thoughts. In the Bridhy-A skycastle in the south, Nixxin looks around. If I were in the east, this I must be going to in the north. I should have read it earlier. Were was it again? He continues to read the information while walking to the south. That could potentially cause harm. There's not any information about inside. Police observe it outside, and they're waiting for a hero to clear a gate? It's been a while since I entered a gate.
As far as I know, gate hunters only enter monster gates, and this is a demon gate; it is easy to assume what enemy is inside it. There are only 6 types of monster gates; I don't know why it's only 6; it could be Wrath, Greed, Envy, Gluttony, Sloth, and Pride.
Wrath are very predictable enemies; although their raw strength is strong, and by this tier it might kill me, luckily Wrath cannot wait; more likely they're going out.
Greed, most of them are just money-based killers, so I think they will also go out.
Envy, these are very annoying enemies since they can have many powers even in low tiers, such as copying and shapeshifting; that's why many people are victims of envy, and there's a chance they're inside, but I think it is Sloth. I mean, come on, this gate has been in for 2 days, unless the pride demon has too much ego to kill each other inside, then he sees the gate.
Police stand by outside, the same hero waiting; they look at each other. Nixxin entered the gate range, but the police stopped him, and Nixxin pulled the foster in his pocket, then the hero earlier approached him, "Hey kid."
Nixxin was about to enter when he heard it, "I'm sorry for earlier."
The man stared at him. "You can't clear it alone."
Nixxin stepped closer to the gate. "Sorry, but I have permission to do it."
Nixxin entered the gate; he was teleported to a place. It isn't a normal demon realm; it is a demon city. Nixxin sees a demon looking at him; they look terrifying; they're gluttony demons.
