Tiger finally returned to his apartment. He placed the assassin outfit aside, changed into his usual clothes, and lay down on his bed. The events of the day were still lingering in his mind, but exhaustion slowly took over.
Before long, Tiger fell asleep.
When he opened his eyes again, he was no longer in his room.
Tiger found himself standing in a beautiful place unlike anything he had seen before. In front of him stood a magnificent white castle, its walls shining against the peaceful surroundings. He looked around in confusion, unable to understand where he had been brought.
"Where am I?" Tiger quietly asked.
Then he noticed someone sitting on a grand throne-like chair near the castle. The mysterious figure slowly stood up and descended the stairs until he reached Tiger.
"How are you, Tiger?" the man asked calmly.
Tiger looked at him suspiciously. "Huh? Who are you?"
"I'm a God."
Tiger's expression immediately changed. "A God?"
"Yes," the God replied. "And for now, I want to test you."
"A test? What kind of test?"
"A fighting test."
The God suddenly clapped his hands.
In an instant, the beautiful surroundings disappeared.
Everything around Tiger turned dark.
It wasn't complete darkness—he could still see—but the entire world had transformed into an endless black space.
Tiger looked around cautiously. "Where am I now? What is this place?"
Something slowly emerged from the darkness.
Tiger narrowed his eyes. "Who's there?"
A strange human-like figure walked toward him. Two thick horns extended from his head, becoming thinner and sharper toward their ends. His appearance alone was enough to make Tiger cautious.
The figure stopped in front of him.
"I'm Trief."
The moment he said his name, he attacked.
Tiger immediately moved back, narrowly avoiding the attack. Trief continued attacking without giving him time to understand what was happening, but Tiger somehow managed to keep dodging.
"You dodged that easily," Trief suddenly said.
Tiger avoided another attack. "What?"
"My attacks. They're moving at the speed of light."
Tiger looked confused. "What? These attacks are at the speed of light?"
"Exactly."
Tiger continued dodging as Trief relentlessly attacked him. "They don't feel like they're moving at the speed of light."
"Maybe you don't realize it because you're somehow dodging all of them," Trief replied. "To you, it might not feel like I'm moving at the speed of light, but I am. Dodging these attacks isn't something a normal person should be able to do."
Tiger remained focused, trying to understand Trief's movements.
The battle continued for some time.
Then suddenly—
Trief landed a powerful attack.
Tiger was thrown backward.
For a moment, everything became silent.
Tiger slowly raised his head.
His eyes began changing.
His normal blue eyes transformed as one half turned white while the other remained blue. The blue side glowed more intensely than before.
Tiger had entered his third eye form.
Trief's expression changed.
Tiger immediately rushed toward him.
This time, the battle was completely different.
Tiger's movements became faster and more powerful. He began overwhelming Trief and, after an intense fight, finally managed to defeat him.
Trief stumbled backward, clearly injured.
"Next time... you won't be able to defeat me," he said painfully.
And then—
He vanished.
Tiger suddenly woke up.
It was midnight.
He sat up on his bed and looked around his room, breathing quietly.
"What kind of dream was that...?"
Still confused, Tiger got out of bed and washed his face. Afterward, he returned to bed, hoping to sleep again.
But he couldn't.
No matter how much he tried, his mind refused to calm down.
Tiger sighed. "Maybe I should go outside for a while."
It was already nighttime when he left his apartment and began walking through the quiet streets. After walking for some time, the fresh air finally helped him feel better.
"Yeah... I feel better now. Maybe I can finally sleep."
Tiger turned around and began walking back toward his apartment.
But suddenly—
Someone appeared in front of him.
Tiger froze.
His eyes widened.
It was Trief.
"What...?" Tiger whispered.
Without saying anything, Trief immediately attacked.
Tiger quickly dodged.
This time, however, something felt different. Trief's attacks were powerful, but they didn't feel impossibly fast like they had in Tiger's dream.
Tiger avoided another attack. "Are you attacking at the speed of light again?!"
Trief suddenly looked confused.
"What?"
Tiger stared at him.
"Are you crazy?" Trief said. "What human can attack at the speed of light? For a human, moving at the speed of light is impossible. I'm only around a hundred times faster and stronger than a normal human."
Tiger's expression changed.
They continued fighting.
"Wait... did you forget?" Tiger asked while blocking another attack. "We've already met before."
Trief looked genuinely confused. "You're seriously insane. This is the first time we've met."
Tiger's eyes widened.
"What?"
"And how do you even know my name?"
Before Tiger could answer, Trief attacked again.
This time, Tiger struggled.
Trief overwhelmed him and landed multiple powerful punches in rapid succession. Eight punches struck Tiger before he could properly react, knocking him down.
Tiger struggled to move.
Then his eyes slowly began changing again.
One half turned white.
The other remained blue.
His third eye form had appeared in reality.
Tiger slowly stood up.
This time, he fought back.
The battle became intense, and after struggling against Trief's strength, Tiger eventually managed to defeat him.
Trief stumbled backward.
"For the first time... someone actually had the strength to defeat me."
Then, just like in Tiger's dream—
Trief vanished.
Tiger stood completely still.
"He disappeared... exactly like he did in my dream."
He looked around, trying to understand what had just happened.
"And he doesn't remember meeting me before...?"
Nothing made sense.
Tiger eventually returned to his apartment, washed his face, and spent some time thinking about everything that had happened—the mysterious God, the strange dream, Trief, and the fact that the exact same person had suddenly appeared in reality.
Was that really just a dream?
Or was there something far more strange happening to him?
Unable to find an answer, Tiger finally lay down on his bed.
And slowly...
He fell asleep.
