The air was heavy with tension. Arashi stood facing his opponent, their eyes locked in a silent challenge.
The enemy smirked. "I've seen your strength. You're not what I expected. Do you train often?"
Arashi's voice was calm and cold. "I just want to finish this and go home. Don't waste my time."
"So you're in a hurry," the enemy replied. "Fine. Let's begin. But remember, there won't be a second chance."
"I understand. Stop talking."
In the next instant, they clashed. Their fists collided with such force that the ground beneath them trembled. Arashi charged his fist with power and lunged forward, striking his opponent directly in the head. The blow nearly knocked him unconscious.
Without hesitation, Arashi grabbed him by the head and rained down punches from above. The enemy roared in fury, his scream shaking the surroundings. With sudden strength, he caught Arashi and hurled him away violently.
They exchanged blow after blow, neither willing to fall. Arashi managed to grab him and throw him across the area. The enemy rose again, breathing heavily.
"I've gained a lot of experience from countless battles," Arashi said quietly.
The enemy's eyes darkened. "Then prepare yourself. I'll show you who I truly am. I won't just kill you. I'll tear your body apart."
They charged again. Their movements were so fast they were barely visible. Destruction spread in every direction as their attacks collided.
Suddenly, the enemy grabbed a torch and threw it onto spilled gasoline nearby. Flames erupted instantly, engulfing the entire place.
Silence followed.
For a moment, it seemed everything had ended.
Then, through the blazing fire, a figure stepped forward. Arashi emerged untouched, as if the flames had no power over him.
"I didn't expect it to be this easy," he murmured. "Time to go home and sleep."
He walked away calmly, his expression unchanged, as if nothing had happened.
When he reached his apartment building, exhaustion finally weighed on him. He stepped into the elevator and made his way to his floor. The door creaked as he opened it, his body heavy with fatigue. After locking it behind him, he dropped onto his bed.
"It was an annoying day," he muttered before closing his eyes.
In his dream, he saw Rin standing in front of him. They walked together through a festival filled with lights and fireworks. She laughed beside him as they played games and later shared a meal at an elegant restaurant.
"I really enjoyed spending time with you," Rin said softly.
It felt warm. Peaceful.
Then sunlight touched his face.
Arashi opened his eyes to the sound of birds outside his window. "It was just a dream," he whispered. "But it was a good one."
He checked the time. "Five minutes left before school."
He rushed outside, moving through the crowded streets at incredible speed. To the people around him, it felt like a passing breeze.
He arrived at school and entered his classroom. His eyes met Rin's for a brief moment.
A friend nudged him. "You like Rin, don't you? Want some advice on how to get closer to her?"
"Stay out of it," Arashi replied.
Classes dragged on, and boredom overtook him. He nearly fell asleep until lunchtime arrived.
He hadn't prepared any food.
Then he heard a gentle voice. "Here. I made this for you."
Rin stood in front of him, holding a lunchbox.
"You didn't have to," Arashi said, slightly surprised. "You shouldn't trouble yourself because of me."
"I'm not troubled," she replied with a small smile. "I'll feel happier if you eat it."
He smiled faintly. "Then I'll be very happy to."
He ate eagerly while she watched, amused by how seriously he focused on finishing the meal.
"Thank you, Rin," he said sincerely. "From the bottom of my heart."
After lunch, he stood up. "I'll text you later."
"Okay. See you," she replied.
When school ended, Arashi looked out the classroom window at the city skyline and the trees swaying gently in the distance.
After classes, he returned home, prayed, and thanked God for His blessings.
Later, as he headed to work, he noticed an elderly woman lying on the ground while her children shouted at her.
"Don't come back home again," they said harshly.
Arashi stopped walking. His eyes narrowed slightly.
How could they treat their own mother like that?
He stepped forward, ready to see what was really going on.
