The horizon burned with energy.
Even from miles away, Harold could feel it—threads in the sky twisting, pulling, glowing. The network had shifted again. Not chaotic, not fractured. Balanced. But tense, like a bowstring pulled taut.
Storm hovered beside him, her bronze lightning rippling in the air.
"Don't tell me she's already moving," she said, eyes narrowing.
Harold didn't answer immediately. He could feel the pull of her presence through the network threads. Not hostile—yet. But dominant. Sovereign-level dominance, radiating like a gravitational pull across the planet.
The Frost host floated next to them, calm as ever. "She's fully synchronized with her Titan. No instability. No flaw. This… is unprecedented."
Harold exhaled slowly. "If she moves toward the network, even a small action could trigger planetary-wide feedback. We need to prepare."
The Sky Over the Ocean
Far away, the girl—the Leviathan Sovereign—hovered above the sea. Her Titan coiled beneath her like a living abyss, waves rising endlessly with every breath.
She had sensed Harold's presence. Felt the threads of his six Titans. Felt the network stabilizing after the devouring Sovereign was eliminated.
And yet…
A pull drew her toward him. Not out of aggression. Not yet.
A challenge.
A balance.
A test of power.
The ocean itself rose in response to her movement, currents twisting into massive spirals, tidal waves forming in seconds. Storms brewed across hundreds of kilometers.
Even the True Sovereign's distant observation pulsed with interest.
The Ruined City
Harold's six Titans stirred within him.
The Monkey King spun his staff slowly, flames flickering.
"This is going to be fun," he muttered.
The Devourer's ocean rolled, dark and deep. "She is a natural apex. Even the Whale Falcon had limits. She does not."
The Sovereign Colossus' molten body glimmered in the sunlight. "Preparedness is critical. Any miscalculation may result in a breach."
Unity radiated calm. "We stabilize first. Observe. Engage only when necessary."
The Counter-Sovereign's silent threads extended outward, probing the distant network.
Harold's voice was steady. "Then we prepare. Because if she comes toward the network… this will be the first true convergence of Sovereigns."
Convergence Begins
Across the ocean, the Leviathan Sovereign began moving.
Waves rose like mountains. Storms twisted into vortexes. Birds scattered for hundreds of kilometers. The very planet seemed to tremble beneath the power of her Titan.
Harold felt it immediately. Threads tugged at him from across the globe. The other Titan hosts, still recovering from the devourer's destruction, began sensing it too.
Storm shouted over the wind. "This isn't a fight yet… but it will be catastrophic if she collides with the network!"
Harold clenched his fists. "We have no choice. If she reaches the core threads without guidance, the network could collapse globally."
The Monkey King cracked his knuckles. "Then let's meet her halfway. I've been itching for a proper test."
The Devourer's ocean surged. "I concur. Predator versus predator."
The Sovereign Colossus' molten eyes flared. "Planetary equilibrium must be preserved."
Unity glowed brightly. "Balance is our priority."
The Counter-Sovereign's threads wove forward silently, measuring the distance and strength of the Leviathan's pull.
The Meeting
High above the water, Harold and Storm ascended. The six Titans behind him radiated immense power, their presence bending air and reality around them.
The Leviathan Sovereign turned, the massive sea serpent coiling and diving beneath her like the oceans themselves obeyed her will.
Her gaze met Harold's. Calm. Calculating. Dominant.
Harold raised a hand, his aura flaring in unison with the Whale Falcon, Devourer, Colossus, Monkey King, Unity, and Counter-Sovereign.
"Identify yourself," he called, his voice amplified across the network threads.
The girl's voice carried effortlessly across the winds. "I am the Leviathan Sovereign. I am the balance of the oceans. The sky. The abyss. And I will not allow instability."
Harold nodded slowly. "Nor will I. But the devouring Sovereign is gone. The network is recovering. We don't need conflict… yet."
The Leviathan's Titan pulsed. Waves and winds rippled outward. "Yet you possess six Titans within you. One of which I have observed consume another predator. I must determine if you are an ally… or a threat."
Harold's gaze hardened. "Then we test. Carefully. But know this—I will not allow your actions to destabilize the network. Not even slightly."
The Leviathan Sovereign tilted her head. "Agreed. Then let the convergence begin."
Storm shouted, barely audible over the winds. "I can't believe we're about to witness a test between two Sovereigns. And it's not even a fight yet!"
The Frost host raised his hand. Ice formed in the shape of a spear across the ocean, prepared to intercept any sudden aggression.
Harold's aura flared. Six Titans pulsing in resonance.
The Leviathan Sovereign's aura flared. One Titan. Perfect. Complete. Primal.
And somewhere far above, the True Sovereign observed quietly.
This was no longer a trial.
This was the first Convergence of Sovereigns.
Two apex forces, one network, and an entire planet as the battlefield.
The wind shifted. The ocean swirled. And the stage for the ultimate test had been set.
Harold exhaled slowly.
"This… is going to change everything."
