Frey: "Now Clayman, although I went along to help Milim. You have truly made me angry too, you will pay."
Carrion: "Although survival of the fittest is our rule, you simply took things way too far. I'll make sure that you pay for that."
I spoke up with a bit of amusement, "You two might want to put a hold on that. There's still one part of all this that we need to wait for."
Both Carrion and Frey looked at me with confusion, "What must we wait for?"
But everyone just watched as I held up my hand and counted down, "3… 2… 1."
Suddenly, Clayman's scorched body bursted with magical ethereal light. Clayman got up, zombie style as he's blown up appendages began to grow into magical arms.
Everyone either backed off or was blown away by the wave of energy. I just leaned against the pillar and watched the light show.
Rimuru: " Hey Simon, would you allow me the honors…"
Simon: " Yeah, go ahead, his your prey afterall."
Rimuru walked forward and tried negotiating with Clayman who just threw a mana bullet at Rimuru… which he just ate up.
The stunned Clayman saw as Rimuru snapped his finger and the barrier I put up was re-erected.
Clayman tried to take another stab at Rimuru by firing his strongest attack. The attack just got absorbed instantly.
Rimuru walked closer to Clayman and just began to pummel him to smithereens.
"Clayman, one last time, who gave you orders?"
"No I can't, the moderate harlequin alliance doesn't sell out on their clients, we never go back on our words."
" Fine then, by the way, despite being a death man, I will make sure that you will die permanently. Does anyone go against the execution of demon lord Clayman."
Rimuru looked around as the heads of the the demon lords nodded in agreement with the execution. When his head turned to me, I just showed him finger guns.
The black substance erupted from his hand as Clayman's body began to dissolve and disintegrate.
The barrier was put down and everyone was clearly satisfied with the performance, "Well done, you are officially acknowledge as a demon lord. Does anyone object?"
It then erupted in Ramiris and Milim fighting over who was closer to Rimuru and then everyone went on with their personal opinion of Rimuru official seat as a demon lord.
Dino and Leon were expressing their lack of care about Rimuru's seat but Roy had his own reservations that he voiced, reservations that didn't sit right with a certain True dragon.
" You dare complain about my friend Rimuru! Hey Milith, are you ok with your attendant speaking out of turn!?" Veldora screamed at the maid acting as Roy's attendant.
"I'm afraid I have no idea what you are talking about. I am merely a humble maid."
Then Milim came out to Veldora's ear, "Veldora, keep quiet, Valentine is hiding her identity as a maid."
As Milim just revealed her identity to the whole room, Rimuru had a mortified look and I just slapped my forehead.
I looked at Luminous with a resigned look, "Seems you've been burned now Lumi."
Luminous just walked forward towards Veldora with annoyance, "You infuriating dragon, you have no sense of respect. You are to now address me as Valentine."
"… And you!" As Luminous faced me and I pointed to myself in surprise, "You said that this would be foolproof!"
"All I said is that they would not regain those memories. I never said you would be revealed."
Before I had finished my sentence, Luminous was already by my side and tugging on my shirt, "Can you do it again?"
"Uh uh, you had your chance, I'm not doing it again. It's not my fault that tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber ruined your disguise."
Veldora: "HEY!!!"
Milim: "HEY!!!"
"Point is that you can't do the memory erasure over and over again. At some point, that added decrepencies in memory will began to take a mental toll and damage someone's soul." I explained to Luminous.
But she didn't let go of me, " Lumi?"
" I haven't seen you in a while. Why is that?" Luminous, sounding like a clingy child who had just found her stuffed bear, was now pouting while asking me.
Simon: "I did say I'd be visiting a lot less, you know."
Luminous : " But less doesn't mean at all."
Simon: " Less is supposed to imply at all or atleast insinuate it to some degree."
Luminous just stared into my eyes with blank expectation, " I got better at cooking, you know. Will you come by to try some stuff I've made?"
I looked at Luminous with a complicated expression, " Just so you know, I'm gonna be very critical, strict and honest about your cooking. Are still willing to let me taste your cooking?"
" Oh believe me, I'm counting on it. I need a professional to judge me properly."
" I'm not a professional, I'm just a self taught who has gone through multiple trials to perfect the craft. That's how you get better at something, repetition."
" What if you have no talent for it, then are you completely screwed?"
" No, less talent just means more time and repetition required to master the craft. There's no craft in existence that can't be mastered, all you have to do is try."
" Good to know, I'll see you soon then." She let go of my sleeve, her clingy pouty persona disappeared in an instant as if it were just a facade. She approached her attendant, " Roy, could you… why is everyone looking at us?"
Currently every other demon lord was looking at us with their jaws dropped. Evens Leon was frozen and completely stunned in place.
Guy just rubbed his temples as he witnessed the intimate moment Infront of everyone, 'Velzard is gonna kill someone when she founds out about this.'
Roy approached Luminous, " Milady, are you perchance in a romantic relationship with Lord Simon?"
Both me and Luminous flinched as Luminous blushed lightly, " WHAT!! NO!"
Although I wasn't focused on Luminous at moment, the reason I flinched wasn't because of Roy's comment but because when he said it, I immediately got goosebumps on the back of my neck and a piercing glare from beyond the meeting hall, 'She's gonna end my life.'
