After all the demons lords had regained their composure. We had gotten to the matter at hand.
Who was Clayman's benefactor and who is the one truly behind the moderate harlequin alliance… and could they be the same person.
After Luminous sent Roy away after realising that the pest in her domain is related towards Clayman.
After he had gone, they had all honed in on one name that was said aloud by Clayman before his death… Kazalim.
"Ok so who is this Kazalim person exactly?" Rimuru asked to the room.
Carrion: "Kazalim was a demon lord, known as the curse lord." Carrion then turned to Milim, "Hey Milim, it was you and Kazalim then recommended me as a demon lord, do you remember?"
Milim: "Well, of course I remember. He was the demon lord that Leon killed."
Carrion: "And if I remember correctly, Kazalim was a death man, same as Clayman. It's highly possible that they are connected."
Rimuru: "Wait, if Kazalim was also a death man then does that mean that he could've just pretended to be killed and simply went into hiding?"
Carrion: "It's very likely. From what I know about Kazalim, he was much sharper and cautious then Clayman."
Leon: "I don't appreciate you saying it like I let him escape. I merely defeated the man and took his status as a demon lord for myself. Whether he is alive or not, I couldn't care less."
Carrion: "You know that that lacklustered personality is probably why Clayman hated you so much."
Leon: "I don't care."
Rimuru: "Some of Clayman's buddies were a group of jesters called the moderate harlequin alliance. So there's a distinct possibility that he has reincarnated somehow and is possessing a human body as a disguise."
Guy: " Actually I think you're right on the mark. Leon's attack destroys the mind and the body but it's far too quick a resurrection."
Rimuru: " Wait, are you suggesting that someone helped Kazalim?"
Guy: " Yes, that's what I mean and I think someone probably knows about it. After all, someone had been awfully quiet during this whole conversation."
Guy looked directly at me sitting on one of the thrones with a cup of tea which caused everyone else's gazes to follow.
Rimuru: " Do you know something Simon?"
Simon: "Hah… yeah kinda. I know what happened with Kazalim and who her benefactor was that helped her. By the way, Kazalim was a women so get your pronouns straight."
Guy: " Kazalim was a women?"
Rimuru: " Who is it? The one that helped Kazalim to come back?"
Simon: " Rimuru… it's Yuuki Kagarazaka."
The revelation stunned Rimuru, but not by that much, after all Rimuru had begun to suspect him when he got attacked by Hinata but now it was being confirmed outright.
I spatially swapped the cup of tea in my hand for a glass of wine and walked slowly towards them, " thirty years ago, Yuuki reincarnated into this world where he was meet by a desperate Kazalim who was in need of a body. Unfortunately for her, Yuuki was too powerful for her to just force her way in but Yuuki took pity on the demon lord and allowed her safe residence in his body in a manner of co-existence."
Milim: " So this Yuuki is the main mastermind I'm assuming?"
Carrion: "Yes, he's the managing director of the free guild. He's not exactly hard to find."

The entire space was immediately reconstructed and everyone retook their seats at the table while I just leaned against Guy's seat.
Guy: "Well then, the topics of this meeting were about Carrion's betrayal and Rimuru's rise to a demon lord. But now that those matters have been settled, does anyone have any topics that they want to address?"
The room went quiet for a second.
And then Frey lifted her hand, " I have something to address, well it's more of a request. I would like to serve Milim from now on."
The entire room looked at her mildly flabbergasted, except for me of course, " Wow Frey, this is quite the surprise."
Frey: "Yes, infact I would like to completely relinquish my status as demon lord entirely."
Guy: "Frey, now what brought this about?"
Frey: "A few things actually. Firstly, when I saw the battle, I had realized that if me and Clayman fought then we would be evenly matched, as for the awakened Clayman well I would be completely overwhelmed."
Carrion: "You know that your advantage is aerial based combat. You don't have to put yourself down like that."
Frey: " True, but I now realize that simply having the advantage isn't enough any more. "
"…The last reason, ever since last Walpurgis, Simon had did something to Milim that has caused her to come to me for help on how to be a better ruler and I want to continue helping Milim on that.
By the way, I never thanked you for that so thank you Simon."
" No probs Frey but if you knew how I did it then you probably wouldn't be thanking me."
Carrion got up and began walking towards Milim, " While we're on the subject, as you know, I was defeated by Milim in battle and when it comes to survival of the fittest, the loser must submit to the winner.
So I believe I should also serve Milim, you're the boss now." Carrion flashed a wide smile.
This then began a back and forth between Carrion and Milim which caused Milim to finally relent, she fell to the floor and began flailing around and throwing a tantrum.
" You know, well we're on the topic of this, I would also like to weigh in." Dino suddenly sat up and got serious, " I would like to relinquish my status of demon lord and serve Simon."
" PFFFFFFFT!" I spat out my wine at Guy's face as he calmly wiped it down, as if expecting it.
The entire room went silent the moment those words fell, the only one that didn't look surprised by this was Guy who just looked at me with a smug smile.
A smile that just made me want to rip his soul out.
